Fantastic! The perfect way to experience this iconic building - from its very soul, backstage and behind the scenes. Guide Michael did a superb job of keeping us safe, informed and entertained. DO THIS if you can fit it into your visit to one of the world’s greatest cities.

Marcus , our tour guide, was great! He knew the Opera House inside and out. Had great knowledge of music, operas etc. My husband, who doesn’t enjoy those types of music loved the tour. And made a point to tell Macy’s!

We had a wonderful tour guide, Bella. She was so informative and knowledgeable and very friendly. It is a very interesting tour to see all the work that goes into a show. I would highly recommend it.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. It was really behind the scenes. We saw each venue and the backstage areas. We saw ballet costumes and the green room. We were able to stand at the conductor’s podium in the pit.

It is as it says a behind the scenes tour. You learn about the different concert halls, you see costumes and decor. You go up into the rafters. You get details about the construction of the Opera House and much more.

This three hour tour with breakfast was awesome. Bruce gave us a lot of information about the opera house and its creation as well as the updates over the years.

The backstage opera house tour was fantastic . Our guide was outstanding and she took us everywhere!!! We were on stage in the orchestra hall, in the dressing rooms & green rooms, we were in the conductor's dressing room. We were in the Orchestra pit in the opera hall looking out at what they see! We were above the stage where scenery is raised and lowered and below the stage . We saw the largest elevator in the Southern Hemisphere... it was massive r!! It had to have been one of the best tours of one place I have ever been on. Our guide shared So many wonderful stories and also all the history of the building itself. And then they fed us breakfast in a green room. Couldn't have been any better !!!

The only complaint I have is the meeting point when I put it in Google maps was not clear on where to meet. You need to add, “Take escalator below the main stairs to get to the meeting point.” Once I talked to a security guard, he told me I was not even close to where I needed to go. Other than that the tour was excellent.

If you are a lover of Broadway, opera or just to see an iconic building, than this is a must see. It’s a guided walking tour starting from the basement on up through the inner workings of the back end. Very interesting and informative. Wear comfortable shoes, it’s a lot of walking. If you are going for a great breakfast, don’t count on it. It’s just meh. Breakfast is at the end of the tour in what they call back in the states their commissary but they call it their green room.

Our backstage tour with breakfast was just wonderful, our guide Steve was very informative, yes there was a lot of stairs, however, I'm 80 and managed it easily. The pace is slow and leisurely. The breakfast was OK and served in the Green Room. Can recommend this tour of the Sydney Opera House, it's a must.
