A great trip - We’ve done it twice now. Be sure to go on glass bottomed boat trip and the snorkelling. The food establishments including those selling ice cream, seem to shut early - mid afternoon. Boat trip from Cairns to Green Island about 45 mins by fast twin hulled motor boat. Helpful staff on board and in terminal. We saw green turtles and many different fish while snorkelling. Hire the stinger suits as marine stingers can be present. Stay in shallows to get used to snorkelling if you’ve not done it before. Life’s let’s are also for hire.

This is a busy day but very enjoyable. We started with the snoring, not realises the time we just missed our glass bottomed boat trip, but they readily booked us on a later trip. We had a swim in the island resort pool. We had the lunch special in the emerald restaurant - very tasty and good value for money. Rough trip back as the wind had really gotten up but the staff and crew were very reassuring and competent.

We enjoyed our trip to Green Island. Everything was well organised, and wasn't sure what to expect, but ut we had a good day. Didn't realise we were being charged in US dollars which made it a bit more expensive than we thought.

A great family day out with lots to see and do, a little on the expensive side but well worth the experience. As a family of three we took the full day option and in that time we managed a glass bottom boat tour, snorkelling, visiting the crocodiles, a bush walk and a play in the pool as well as a quick bite to eat

Well done trip. Some of the activities are not available at Green Island that are available at the leaf Island. Can easily spend the whole day at Green Island and if possible try to do the longer duration trip.

Severe weather conditions meant we couldn't do much on the island once we arrived unfortunately BUT they refunded all our money back without question when we returned via our agent which was handled very well

The ferry crews were so friendly and caring. We enjoyed the glass boat tour and the snorkeling activity. This was also the cheapest, we stayed from 8:30 - 4:30, it was worth the visit.

It's absolutely stunning! Just keep in mind that lycra suits are not included in the snorkeling equipment.

Very well organized tour , started on time , enjoyable day.. walked the island , snorkeled in the designated areas( great views of the reef) , took the glass bottom boat tour as well , captain was very knowledgeable and gave good commentary during the tour ,, took the early boat back ( basically 6 hours there and back ) plenty of time .. more activities available for a price of course , everything is a la carte , you pay for whatever you want to do , go up if g t a bit pricey…
