What To Expect
A prestigious tasting of Côte de Beaune and/or Côte de Nuits wines: 5 to 7 white and red wines (Pinots Noirs), including exceptional wines classified as 1ers Crus and Grans Cru. After this wine tasting, enjoy some free time in Beaune, a city of history and the capital of Burgundy wines (about 1 hour). Suggestions for free time (entrance fees not included): > The Hospices de Beaune, a masterpiece of Burgundian art > A great Burgundy wine tasting in the cellar (7 to 10 wines) > A tasting at the Moutarderie Fallot (closed on Sundays) > The old town and its traditional shops (blackcurrant, mustard, gingerbread, Anise of Flavigny, etc.) The Champs-Elysées of Burgundy on the Route des Grands Crus, with its mythical plots of land: Romanée Conti, Chambertin, Clos de Vougeot, Echezeaux, Corton Charlemagne, etc. A short walk through the vineyards.

5.00We were staying in Basel for only a few days with another couple and had limited time to plan a day trip to Burgundy for wine tasting. We appreciated that there was a tour available (just days before our trip) that provided transportation and a guide for a tasting experience. We caught a morning train to Dijon where we met Max for an all day Passion tour including two wineries and two hours for lunch in Beaune. It was a very hot day, but the tour van was air conditioned and comfortable, and Max provided us all with plenty of bottled water. Max was a great guide- he kept the conversation going with information not only about the vineyards and wines but also the local area and culture. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He was also a great driver, keeping us all safe and comfortable for the journey between Dijon and Beaune (I was worried about getting car sick, but it was not an issue). I really enjoyed that he took us to see the vineyard plots of 3 wines that we tasted, so that we had a genuine "farm to table" experience. I could not have asked for a better Burgundy day trip- thank you Max!

5.00We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Our guide, Stephan, was incredibly passionate and kind. He made a real effort to share information with us, also we could taste excellent wines. We had plenty of time to enjoy our visit to Beaune. I would highly recommend this tour to my friends and anyone visiting this region!

5.00We had a wonderful experience with our driver Stephan, who took my daughter and me on a scenic drive through the Burgundy Grand Cru route from Dijon to Beaune. The drive itself was the focus of the tour — winding through charming, picturesque towns with great views of the vineyards stretching across the hillsides. Stephan was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the region. He provided insightful context, enhancing our appreciation of the area and its rich winemaking heritage. We tried six different wines at Moillard , each with its own unique character and story. The experience was both educational and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour and Stephan in particular for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of Burgundy’s Grand Crus.

1.00Trip canceled at last moment with no communication even though we got multiple confirmations from TA that trip was on. We arrived at meeting spot only to find when we tried to contact the operator, the operator had left a message about cancellation on the Trip Advisor that morning. Prior to tour guide date, got multiple messages (from various foreign countries) trying to upsell our tour. Understand minimum number if people needed to book, but wouldn’t book “a minimum needed” again or even use TA to book a tour given conflicting messages and annoying attempts to upsell.

5.00Very interesting! AlotofinfoaboutBurgundyand wine making. Loved the wine tasting! Beanne is such a charming town! We want to come back. Our guide Stephan was very nice and knowledgable! Answered all of our questions and showed us wineries that we would not be able to find on our own. Thank you! He also made suggestions of what we should see in Beanne on our own Definitely would recommend this tour and our guide!

5.00This was such experience and an amazing way to get to know the region and its history. We were originally booked for the 1/2 day tour and upgraded to the full day. I am so grateful we did because it would have felt rushed otherwise. Our guide was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and made wine accessible and not stuffy for anyone in the group who may have been learning. The drive was incredible, the village’s picturesque and tranquil. It was like a journey through time. We visited two wineries, each very different but gave us a sense of all the region had to offer. Our guide made extra stops for us to take in the views and the lay of the land which was helpful in understanding how they classify their wines. Our two hours in Beaune was perfect. We had a leisurely lunch and then strolled the town. Stopped in a cheese shop that had amazing goodies. It was a perfect day. Thank you to our guide!
