This e-bike tour was fantastic! It was a well-organized day that offered the perfect mix of activity, scenery, food, and wine -- and education about wine and history. Getting to cycle through the actual vineyards gives you a perspective you just can't get from a car. We would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a truly memorable way to experience the region. The e-bikes were a game-changer. We were able to cover a lot of ground without getting exhausted, and they made the gently rolling hills completely manageable for everyone in our group. It was fantastic to be able to ride right past the rows of famous grapevines and through the quiet, picturesque villages of the area. This is without a doubt the best way to see the landscape up close. Our guide, Albane, was outstanding and truly made the day for us. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Burgundy's history, the geography of the vineyards, and the entire winemaking process, from the soil to the bottle. Beyond her expertise, she was just very friendly and approachable, making it comfortable to ask questions. Her passion for the region was clear and she did a wonderful job of sharing it with us. The wine and food experience was excellent. We really enjoyed the wine tasting, where we got to sample some fantastic local wines and learn what makes them so special. The light lunch that was included was also delicious, featuring authentic regional dishes that gave us a real taste of Burgundy. We highly recommend this tour. It's an active, fun, and informative way to explore the heart of French wine country. The combination of the easy-to-ride e-bikes, beautiful route, and an expert guide like Albane makes it a five-star experience. It is well worth the price, and we would do it again without hesitation.

We were met at a pick up point in Dijon and transported by minibus along amongst the vinyards to Beaune where we met another couple. Albane, our driver and tour guide grew up in the area and had expert knowledge of the different grapes, terroirs and all the technicalities the French authorities attach to Burgundy. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, information and humour. The wine tastings were interesting and the charcuterie lunch plentiful. We love our e-bike tours with knowledgeable guides and have to say that this was one of the best, we ever participated in. The best way to get to explore a new wine region in more depth! Try it - you won’t regret it!!!

What a great day! I had a great experience on this tour I s was picked up on time by the lovely Mathilde. I was the first pick up so travelled from Dijon to Beaune and was taken via the delightful small villages in the way with great commentary in the history. Cycling round the vineyards was great with easy to ride e-bikes. Some lovely wine tastings and then a nice light lunch. I was only in burgundy for a day and felt this was an awesome way to get educated on the region and was a lot of fun. Recommend and special shout out to Matilde as she was a very knowledgeable guide.

This was a great expedition for the day. You meet at 10, bike through vineyards, and stop for wine tasting and lunch along the way. The bikes are amazing quality that have turbo options for those who don’t wish to exert much energy. Our guide, Mathilde, was incredibly knowledgeable about the Burgundy region and explained just the right amount to learn about the region.

This was great fun. I was put off by the lack of reviews but told this was a new tour by an established company and I’m glad we took the leap. Operator was very communicative, our guide, Mathilde, was a joy who very clearly understood the region and the intricacies of the various appellations etc.. Mathilde spoke excellent English and was very patient and responsive to questions. Our van ride was only about ten minutes from Beaune, which isn’t clear in the description. The biking was not at all arduous - there was enough of it to enjoy but not enough to tire one out (all e-bikes) even on the very hot day we had. Tastings were generous but light enough that with just a little self-discipline there wasn’t an alcohol + bike = danger issue. I think some experience on a bike would be worthwhile but, again, it wasn’t arduous. Two wineries/tastings, each very different. Lunch at the first one was lovely and on the spot they adapted nicely to my vegetarian wife (but I recommend that veggies advise them in advance). Operator note: I think it would be reasonable to ask the bike supplier to have bikes in tip top shape upon our arrival (at least one was not fully charged) - bikes were fine and all worked out but still… Lovely day, I highly recommend.

The tour guide was amazing, but the wines at the tastings were disappointing and of low quality. The weather was acceptable but it still wasn’t good enough for the bike store owner to be willing to operate that day so that part got cancelled. This trip has a lot of potential to be great.

Our guide was amazing and the trip was super informative and enjoyable. Biking through the vineyards is definitely the way to go. The electronic bikes made it a breeze--very little physical exertion.
