We met up with our guide, Hanna, and the rest of our group in Bordeaux and left for the short ride to Saint-Emilion where we got our EV bikes. On this perfect Autumn day Hanna led us through the vineyards displaying their beautiful fall foliage. There were stops at several Chateaus for tours and wine tastings. At the end of the tour and tastings in Domaine de Moncets we headed outdoors where we had a picnic lunch of various meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, baguette and wine. Our biking ended back in Saint Emilion where Hanna walked us through the historic village and where we had our final wine tasting at the Saint-Emilion Boutique Wines shop. The wine merchant was very entertaining and had our group taste 5 different wines then vote on our favorites. It was a fun way to finish up our day. Hanna was an amazing guide and this was a wonderful day as well as a great way to really explore the region.

Amazing guide. Very professional company. We learned a great deal not only about wine but also about the culture and history of the beautiful town. And we had fun on the bikes! (Current and well kept) A great day all around.

Wonderful experience! Our tour guide Juliet was fantastic. She drove the 8 of us in a comfortable van to get the e-bikes in St. Emillion. We ride through the gorgeous countryside viewing the vineyards. The colors were outstanding. At the first vineyard we had tastings and a lovely lunch at picnic tables under a tree. No rushing, very relaxing. We bicycled to the next vineyard for more tastings. After we returned the e-bikes we walked through the beautiful village of St. Emillion. We highly recommend this wonderful experience.

I couldn’t speak higher of Hannah - she was one of the best guides I’ve ever had and so knowledgeable about wine. I enjoyed everything about the tour - it was really well structured, fun, beautiful and really interesting - I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

This tour exceeded expectations! Dante was amazing! He was warm and informative and made sure we knew the basics of the region before we reached the Chateaus for tastings. The vineyards were beautiful and the tastings were so much fun! Would definitely recommend doing this, especially with Dante as your guide!

Rustic Vines provides a unique and wonderful way to explore St. Emilion with 3 separate wine tastings. We spent a fantastic 8-hour day (9:30-5:45) touring 2 chateaux and bike riding through vineyards. For lunch, we savored a charcuterie platter capped with a Bordeaux candale for dessert. Overall a totally enjoyable day. Do not be intimidated by the e-bike. If you can ride a regular bike, an e-bike is even easier and enables you to glide up hills effortlessly, and the route was gorgeous and mostly flat. Our guide Hanna was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Highly recommend.

Dante is an excellent tour guide, and made it easy to converse about the various wines we tasted from the Saint-Emillion area. Also helpful when I forgot to turn my bike on, but only when I brought it up after biking up the hill in the village. Was a cheerful day that had been expected to rain, but the tour was perfectly timed to intercept the sunshine that broke through the clouds to shimmer off of the leaves in the dozens of hectares that the chateaus have.

Excellent tour in spite of some horrendous downpours. Dante our guide was extremely informative and engaging - we felt we learned a lot as well as thoroughly enjoying the vineyards and scenery. Only criticism was that he had a tendency to set off without checking he had the whole group with him, with people ending up getting lost. Would otherwise have been 5 star review. Minor suggestion for improvement - would be good if the guide had a mike on while driving - his commentary was excellent but hard to hear from the back seat.

Wonderful tour. We were the only two leaving from Bordeaux and met up with another very nice couple on St Emilion. Pauline was an exceptional guide - friendly, charming and knowledgeable. She is also a sommelier so was able to answer all our questions and offer a lot of interesting information along the way. We visited two very nice wineries, a wine shop and the lovely village of St Emilion. The highlight though was biking through the gorgeous wine country. Five out of five experience.
