Saint Emilion is a quaint, charming little village. This tour includes a 1h guided tour of the town, including some free time for you to roam around as long as the tour leaves Bordeaux on time. Also, you will not be able to fully explore the whole village, as we have strict appointments at each chateau. If you wish to stay longer in the village, you can organize another day trip yourself, as there’s a train station not far from the town center. For any further information about this, please feel free to contact us.

5.00Great experience. Our tour guide Alex was an absolute delight. He was very knowledgeable and had a great personality which made the experience even more enjoyable. The wineries we went to (Chateau Grangey and Chateau Cadet Bon) were great and the overall experience was enjoyable. The tour was smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend!

5.00Communication was excellent, pick up easy and organisation. The van was comfy, the driver was fun, knowledgeable, informative and a genuinely nice guy! The 2 wineries were beautiful, the location, the wines were lovely. The location and the knowledge of the people were excellent. The walk around Saint-Émilion was gorgeous, the local wine bar we visited was lovely in the free time we had. The food from the tour guide at the 2nd winery was gorgeously presented, tasted incredible and paired excellently with the wine. The best wine tour I've been on, Thank you so much François!

5.00Absolutely best day with Gilbert from Bordeaux Wine Trails. They tailored the day to accommodate our two kids, ages 7 & 10. We were all engaged and learned a lot! They kids enjoyed the treats and interactive experiences throughout and we appreciated visiting smaller chateaux and having more intimate tasting experiences. A day we’ll never forget, thanks to Gilbert!
