Fort Siloso
Siloso Point is separated from Labrador Park on mainland Singapore by less than half a kilometre of sea. This proximity has fuelled an urban legend about an undersea tunnel connecting British-constructed forts and artillery batteries at both locations. Despite numerous excavations and restorations, no tunnel has been found and none appear on maps or documents. The names of places and natural features on Blakang Mati reflect the local communities, economic and social history, as well as the island’s flora and fauna. Near where Fort Siloso stands, today was an area known as Sarang Rimau, Tiger’s den in Malay, used by the Orang Laut to reflect their knowledge of the area.
Siloso Beach
Siloso Beach, one of three beaches with swimming lagoons created by Sentosa Development Corporation, SDC during the 1970s and 1980s has a rich history. Its name comes from the Malay word for “rock”, initially a strategic defence point. It was transformed into a vibrant tourist hotspot in the 1970s. Today, Siloso Beach is renowned for its beach volleyball, water sports and bustling nightlife, where the energy never fades and the parties keep going.

It was a fun experience taking a yacht ride down the Sentosa border (and having a peek at the penthouses along one marina)! Food was okay, not the best, but I guess you pay more for the experience! I would say though, if you do suffer from motion sickness, I would recommend against it, as my partner couldn’t enjoy most of the ride once her motion sickness set in (and it set in rather quickly!) Would like to specially commend Erra and Anna who was very observant and quickly offered some remedies for my partner to manage the motion sickness!

Wonderful Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great time on the Royal Albatross Sunset Cruise. The 7-course vegetarian meal was very tasty and well prepared. The atmosphere was beautiful, especially during sunset, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A perfect experience for couples!

Well worth the money. Food was excellent and the service fantastic. We had a great time celebrating my husband's 50th. On our cruise, not all the sails were up, as per the image, but it was fun to watch them working on the sails that did go up. Great experience

A very pleasant evening on the Royal Albatross. The 7-course dinner was well thought out, nicely presented, and surprisingly good for being served on board. Service was attentive, the live music added a nice touch, and the views of the coastline and skyline made the whole experience memorable without being overdone.

4 course cruise (not 5 course).. appreciate the flexibility to change our seats. However, the first main course (fish) is not very fresh. Life singing is good.
