Please note that we use tandem kayaks. If there is a solo customer or odd numbered group we will set up one single kayak to accommodate. Please call with any questions or requests.

Robinson Nature Preserve

Join us for an incredible adventure at the famous Robinson Preserve. Explore the serene waterways and mangroves on our sit-on-top kayaks. Prepare to be amazed by the diverse wildlife, including native birds, fish, and maybe even manatees! We'll make a stop along the way to climb a huge observation tower for stunning views and photo opportunities. Throughout the 2-hour tour, your guide will share fascinating facts about the area and the animals you encounter. It's an unforgettable experience!

Relaxed, informative, fun. Kinsey great leader who knows the area well and gives information about the area and wildlife in a fund and engaging manner. Liked it so much we signed up for a second tour to see dolphins

Tom and my guide, Ben, were so easy to communicate with. They confirmed with me in the morning of the tour and followed with an email confirming where to meet. Then when Ben was caught in a construction zone, he let me know his status. Ben was very passionate and knowledgeable about the birds, plants, fish, oysters, snails in the preserve. It was truly a memorable experience. I will definitely book another tour when I return. Ben also took photos for me and sent them to me at the end of our adventure.

Kinsey led our small group through the mangroves of Robinson Preserves with energy and enthusiasm. He was an expert guide in mangrove and bird facts, safety conscious, and intent on providing us with the best experience possible. We saw white pelicans, herons, osprey, Ibis, jumping mullet, climbed an observation tower, and were told of a nearby park to spot manatees. (Some moderate paddling against the wind in open areas). If you’re lucky, he might just burst into the song—“Secret Tunnel”. Organized, friendly, funny, commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Florida Blue Adventures.

Kinsey was a great guide. He was gracious, knowledgeable, funny and helpful the whole time. The journey is advertised as 90 minutes; the first 15 minutes or so are on land getting sorted, but they don’t eat into your time, so you do actually get at least 90 minutes in the kayak/going up the Robinson Preserve tower. We had 2 kids under 10 who had a blast as well. Be prepared for your tush, feet and maybe a bit of sleeves/calves to get wet and enjoy every second!

Florida Blue Adventures was really proactive in moving our tour to avoid the worst of the wind/cold. We had a great time and learned a lot about local wildlife/plants from our tour guide, Kinsey. He was great with our kids and engaged them with questions/facts. We would do it again!

Tommy was very personable, communicated well in advance of the tour with location and timing. He began with a short paddling lesson. He provided running commentary about plant and animal life and area history. The kayaking was easy on calm water. We ended up being on the water for almost 2 hours. Very enjoyable for a couple in our 60s.

Lachlan was so professional and gave us many details that made our tour fun and informative! We got to see a mother and baby manatee and another single one! We climbed the viewpoint and saw many sea creatures he told us about! Great, hardworking guy with a bright future in anything he puts his mind to!
