We had an amazing time with Paul on this food tour. We had limited time in Osaka and knew we needed a guide to show us the best food places in town. Paul didn't disappoint! He was super friendly and had so many fun facts about the food, culture and area of Osaka. We had our 2 teenage daughters with us, and we all found Paul to be warm and knowledgeable. I really appreciated that Paul tailored our tour to our family... he chose spots with us in mind. When I mentioned that sake was my favorite drink of choice, he took us to a great spot to enjoy some delicious unfiltered sake. Paul went above and beyond by pointing out a few more fun spots after the tour, on the way to our train. I HIGHLY recommend this tour and also Paul. A great way to experience the vast array of amazing food in Osaka!

Great tour of Osaka night life. Rodney took the time to explain all of the places in detail and highlighted how his tour tried very hard to integrate into and not disturb the existing native bar culture. Highly recommend!

Awesome food/bar tour for our first night in Osaka! Danick was our tour guide and he shared so much of his experiences and funny stories along the way. He took us to very local/small bars that not many tourists would even know about. We got to try okonomiyaki and other izakaya bites along the way. At the end, we had an “unofficial” optional stop at a karaoke bar which was so much fun. Loved all the recommendations and places we stopped at while getting a brief history of the area.

Ruben was funny, engaging, and gave us a good balance of historical knowledge and personal experience! We went to two restaurants and two bars, and had a great experience sampling so many foods and drinks! It was such a fun way to get to know Osaka!

We had such a great and memorable time with Rodney! He took us to some food spots as well as bars, we got to try a lot of local food and drinks that we probably would never have had otherwise. We went to places we would have never been able to find on our own, hidden away in back alleys and inconspicuous buildings. I fully recommend this tour to anybody who would like to experience an authentic night out in Osaka!

Had the most amazing tour with Kevin!! Couldn't fault it. We were thrilled to find out we were the only two who'd booked, so we got a private tour and Kevin took us to all his favourite spots. He seemed to know all of the proprietors and staff pretty well, so he and the venues made us feel right at home. Everyone was super friendly. Kevin was so knowledgeable about the food and drinks we enjoyed and the venues we went to, and we absolutely would never have found any of them without his help. We even ended up going back to our favourite one after the tour (shout out to Oni!). I thought the length and value of the tour was incredibly reasonable for how much you get to eat and drink. We booked mostly for the drinks and bar experience, but you also get plenty enough food to feel full (and provide a good amount of padding for the alcohol!) It was a great opportunity to enjoy a unique and local experience of Osaka. I would definitely book with Taste Osaka (and Kevin!) if and when we return.

Rodney was a great guide. The food was delicious, and he showed us a few small bar spots, where we really felt like locals. In fact, we were the only non-locals in most places. Super fun evening we wouldn't have been able to plan ourselves -- definitely worth it.
