What To Expect
Mount Batur
Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The south east side of the larger 10×13 km caldera contains a caldera lake. The inner 7.5-kilometer-wide caldera, which was formed during emplacement of the Bali (or Ubud) ignimbrite, has been dated at about 23,670 and 28,500 years ago.
Toya Bungkah Hot Spring
Toya Bungkah is the starting point of hike, this ner by Lake Batur. Precisely located in the crater lake in Kintamani, Bali, Bangli Regency of Bali, located about 30 km (19 mi) northeast of Ubud in Bali. The lake is inside of the caldera of an active volcano, Mount Batur, located along the Ring of Fire of volcanic activity.

5.00It was extremely fun! 🤩 the crew was nice, supportive and friendly. The hike took is 2 hours, but it went smooth and the crew took care of us. NENGAH Took care of us all the way through to the top, he made us breakfast and took a lot of pictures of us appreciated Dewa was our driver, he came on time and he was driving safely and smoothly, and he was chatting with us for the whole hour drive Wirawan is the one who took us back home, he was extremely nice! Thats it, all in all, it was 10/10 experience, and i would recommend everyone who come to bali try it!

5.00what an absolutely amazing experience it was hiking, watching the sunrise, seeing monkey and being able to hand feed them, and steaming volcanic rocks. Was picked up from villa, driver was amazing and cannot thank Katut enough for our experience with him. Highly recommend for solo or couples, it’s a hard track at first but 1000% worth the while once You’re up top. Hands down best experience in Bali ❤️

5.00I had an awesome time on the sunrise trek. Our driver Sentana provided thoughtful information about Balinese culture and answered all of our questions. He was kind and very polite, I would highly recommend him! Our guide on the trek, Ketut, was just as kind and offered support throughout the hike. He always made sure we were okay and laughed with us as we joked. He felt like a member of our friend group from the beginning and answered all our questions about animales, plants, etc. as we trekked. Both our driver and guide made the highlight of our trip to Bali! (This is not a paid review.)

5.00Our driver to the hike was Sentana and our guide was Ketut. Sentana was extremely polite and insightful with not only local sites and suggestions on other activities, but also the culture and general facts which was really interesting. Ketut was an excellent guide who knew a lot about the area and made sure at every opportunity to take photos which came out amazing. He also constantly made sure we were all okay and helped us when the terrains got a bit steep or slippery.

5.00I had an amazing experience during our sunrise trek. It was 500.000 IDR for the transportation to the base camp, a knowledgeable guide who helped out everyone, breakfast at the top of the mountain, and transportation back to where you are staying with a quick intermission to visit a local coffee and cacao plantation. Our driver Sentana was very safe and very willing to share a lot about the local culture making the car ride enjoyable. Our guide Ketut made sure that everyone was able to keep up and make sure to help in any tricky parts of the trail and was very kind.
