The hop-on hop-off bus allows you to get on and off freely throughout the day, with stops at the main tourist sites such as Old Lyon, Place Bellecour and Notre-Dame de Fourvière Basilica. Multilingual audio commentary is clear and informative, and onboard Wi-Fi is a real plus. An ideal solution for a first visit of Lyon, offering good value for money and a complete overview of the city.

  I took the bus this morning. I took my tickets Once pay the driver Say there is no Headphone. Besides it is the only bus and every time we stop we have to wait two hours. Knowing that there are 10 stops, your driver will work a full twenty hours, that's a scam, I don't understand. And finally it was by asking the question that we knew all this we told him that we had to tell us. He told us that we had to ask him the question .he was very unpleasant. RUN AWAY. Take the subway and tram it will cost you much less and you will not feel like pigeons.

  Not the best experience since we took the tour expecting a round trip. We were specifically told what time of 4pm to be at the last stop at the church on the hill. We were there before time and waited an hour in the freezing cold to then have no choice but to take the tram. I saw another couple who were on the departing bus as well waiting too but they gave up and left. I recommend not taking the last bus as they may be a no show.

  The City Tour disappointed us a lot, we actually love city tours, because you can see a lot in a short time. But after 30 out of 90 minutes the app stopped working, just music chitchat, no more explanation. Several times tried to restart, it stopped working. In the old town you could see beautiful houses etc, you didn't know what it was about, but everything outside the old town, no idea what we saw. Also it would have been nice to drive a little slower in the place where you have the great view over Lyon. Then the driver sped past. Perhaps also due to the fact that there was already a time delay due to after-hours traffic. Annoy me for taking this ride.

  So disappointing. I love these tours all over the world, but this one is terrible. You have to bring your own headphones and download an app to hear the commentary about the city. They give you very little information. Most of the time you are just listening to jazz music.

  Save your money. Avoid this at all costs. All I can say is total joke. We have done many of these Hop on Hop off tours and this one is horrible

  You need to bring your own headphones and download the Rewind App to hear the tour dialogue. There is a QR code on the bus to download that app. I wish there was more commentary and less music on the tour. There could have been more information provided about the city rather than playing music. There seemed to be a lot of “dead-air” time.

  We use a hop-on, hop-off bus in almost every city where we travel for tourism. So also here ... The audio guide could not be started, Service not available. The ride itself: Only the driver will know why he has repeatedly made the same loops and has NOT approached some important sights.

  I highly recommend this tour for anyone who has a short time to spend in Lyon. We saw so many sites and the audio commentary along the way — and the wonderful music — gave us a great overview of this beautiful city within a few hours. We hopped off at the Basilica and had plenty of time to spend there before the next hop on bus arrived. My only advice is to make sure you show up at the correct location in time for your tour. And have your virtual ticket ready on your phone.
