Grace’s enthusiastic tour will be the top highlight of our 2 week trip to Hong Kong. Highly recommend this as a use of a day including seeing unique culture of old Hong Kong you won’t see within the city, a religious/cultural stop, and great opportunities for souvenirs. As others have mentioned there are a few additional *optional* costs such as lunch and the boat tour. They come out to ~140 HKD to add both of those things. Highly recommend.

First time doing a tour on my own, so I was a bit worried, luckily my worries were unfounded. Eva was my tour guide, and she laid everything out pretty clearly, ie the best times to go to the restrooms and where the best places to buy souvenirs/incense sticks were. While unfortunately we did not see any dolphins this trip, the boat ride is still very much enjoyable and picturesque, so even if the dolphins are out of season/less than before, I'd still recommend the boat ride before heading to the monastery. Getting the historical background of some areas, having an interpreter if need be, and a general guide was very useful. Overall this is a good day event, since afterwards you have time to explore the shops around the Buddha and then the shopping areas by the train station.

We loved visiting the big buddha, fishing village, and taking the cable car back into HK. This is an experience you can't miss! The Big Buddha area was breathtaking, it was so worth climbing to the top for some nice views but also to see the scale of the buddha. Lunch was a vegetarian meal at the base of the big buddha. There were some beautiful temples to explore in the area. We loved the cable car ride down, it lasted 25+ minutes and it went over mountains, forest, and ocean and was truly one of the most remarkable engineering feats I've seen. It's worth getting the glass bottom cable car because you can really see as the environment changes to the ocean. Our tour group was great and Grace was our guide, she was wonderful and really funny!

Grace is great! Highly recommend this excursion. Other people mention hidden fees, this is only $80HKD to get lunch at the restaurant, which you would pay anyway for a trip of this length. Worth the price and time!

The time we joined the tour was perfect timing, nice weather, the place was not crowded plus we had a very accommodating tour guide which is Ms. Eva,she was cheerful, all information needed was send to us to make our tour easy. Tour was all over excellent!

Great tour. Our guide Grace made it so memorable. She is funny and kind and made sure everyone was OK. The stops were awesome and we got lucky on the boat cruise and saw a lot of dolphins. Don't skip the boat tour. If you can manage, climb all the way to the top of the big Buddha. It's worth the climb.
