  I went on the Snorkeling Tour with the Leopard Sharks. We had a great team leader for our group. We went out for about 50 minutes and actually saw Leopard sharks and schools of tiny fish. It was a great bargain.

  Really terrible experience. I was so excited to learn how to snorkel but unfortunately, we had no guidance or lesson from our guide. We were told to put our fins on and walk backwards into the water and that’s all we got. I couldn’t get my mask to fit right or my snorkel attached to my mask and our tour guide essentially just left us in the ocean. I have no idea where she went. We ended up just walking back to the store after 20 minutes of trying to figure it out on our own and turning back in our stuff. I honestly don’t know what I paid for it was a joke.

  The experience was fun because snorkeling is fun, but most of the employees were super rude to us upon arrival. There were a couple that were kind and helpful, but the majority of the employees seemed really unhappy to be there and gave a lot of attitude when we were checking in. Also, we paid extra for a guide and he left a bunch of our group behind. Went SUPER fast out into the ocean so only a few of us were able to keep up and the rest of our group had to do their own thing. They might as well have just paid for the snorkeling rentals. So not a fantastic experience with the company. Just rent the gear and go out yourself.

  If you want to rent gear, you get that. The "guide" description is a bit misleading. Our "guide" walked with us to the beach and entered the water with us. He showed us where the sharks should be, showed us some sea grasses, and then told one of the group that his time was up and left. We were told that we didn't have to leave with him, and that our gear rental was good through the end of the business day. We were able to find several leopard sharks as the "guide" departed, so we stayed in a little longer. The water was very murky due to the earthquake/tsunami that was effecting the surf. That is no fault of the outfitter. The equipment was very worn, with holes in many of the wetsuits. The fins that we were given should have booties inside, but they were not available/offered. The locker situation was challenging. The lockers were limited, and the prices varied by size. I would have felt better if the guide had stayed with us and gave us some more information on why the leopard sharks are in the area, etc. I felt like we only got gear and advice to "swim there."

  Excellent experience. Our guide, Sammie, was very well versed in her snorkeling and ocean knowledge. We were celebrating my daughter‘s 15th birthday and we both had a great time and got to see sharks and fish. And even a sting ray or two. Sammie made us feel very comfortable in the water and was super fun and sweet to be guided by.

  Tour was everything expected and then some. Stephen was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable and flexible to accommodate us. We got to see quite a few sharks even though the sun did not cooperate and come out the day we visited

  We had so much fun and saw soooo many sharks and guitar fish. The water was clear and the weather was perfect. Our amazing guide Seabass showed us the ropes with our snorkeling gear and made sure we were set to go out in the water. He stayed with us in the water and helped locate the sharks throughout our time on the tour. I think he was having as much fun as we were!

  Told us to be there 30 minutes early. Tour guids were close to 20 minutes late and had just barely clocked in. Paid for a 55 minute trip and was maybe out for 35 minutes. Saw more wildlife on the beach the next day compares to the barely one shark the day of tour. Experience was not as advertised.

  My daughter and I had an amazing time! We are San Diego locals and I can’t believe we hadn’t done this before! Our guide was so sweet. She walked us down the beach to the perfect spot. We had so many leopard sharks right at our feet!! Here are a couple of tips: 1) Be sure to arrive 30-45 minutes before your tour time. This will give you time to get suited up in your wetsuit and fins. 2) They sell waterproof pouches for your phone for about $20 and they work great for those underwater shots!

  Got there 3 minutes late due to lack of parking space. Group with teacher left without us and the company gave very little direction. The gear provided was cheap. Not worth the money for the quality of service provided.
