What To Expect
Kompong Phluk
Take a half-day tour by comfortable mini-van and motorized boat. Float alongside homes, shops, and schools on this interactive Kompong Phluk tour. Optionally, take a rowing boat ride around the flooded forest.
We don't visit the primiary school of Rolous however we will visit the rolous market that is next door to the school. Travelers will wander through the market and learn of how villagers sell their homegrown produce here.

5.00We were fortunate to do this tour when there was still water enough to appreciate the floating village and take the rowing boat out to flooded forest. The row boat was my favorite part of this whole experience. Even though there were other boats and people around, it felt so tranquil. It was soothing listening to the small splashes of water and rustling of leaves while you float through the trees casting shadows all around you.

4.00We had a lot of fun on this afternoon out. Even during the dry season the village was an interesting visit. Ra was a good guide, both boat trips were excellent and sunset on the lake was special. I would have liked just a little more time to wander round the village and take in the atmosphere.

5.00Great experience. Our guide Phyrom and our driver made it very enjoyable with his strong knowledge of the area and traditions. At every stop he went in depth regarding what we were visiting and in Cambodia in general, so we learned a ton that we did not expect. Super friendly, I would totally recommend this tour. We had a total of seven people on the tour so it was great to experience the tour with other people but the group was small enough to make every stop very smooth. I will do this tour again when we return!

5.00This experience with Phyrom as our tour guide was epic! Visiting this floating village alongside an experiences and knowledgeable guide was one of the coolest tours I did in Siem Reap. Phyrom and his team were very punctual and clear on instructions and what we could expect to see. This was a very energizing way to see rural parts of Siem Reap and I would recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about Cambodia and its history! A+!
