What To Expect
Kompong Phluk
Take a half-day tour by comfortable mini-van and motorized boat. Float alongside homes, shops, and schools on this interactive Kompong Phluk tour. Optionally, take a rowing boat ride around the flooded forest.
We don't visit the primiary school of Rolous however we will visit the rolous market that is next door to the school. Travelers will wander through the market and learn of how villagers sell their homegrown produce here.

5.00Great tour with excellent tour guide Ra 👍🏻. We chose the morning tour and we managed visit of Cambodian markets with fresh fish, spice and herbs and Ra gave us information about proper ingredients typical for Khmer cuisine.

5.00This was a really great trip. Air-conditioned mini bus took us to catch the boat and our guide told us interesting information about life in the floating villages, Tonlé Sap, life in Cambodia etc. Walked around the village and monastery at Kompong Phluk. Had an opportunity to go through the flooded forests on a smaller boat. Stopped at a floating cafe/bar for refreshments and then boated out to the lake to watch the sun set which was amazing. Highly recommend this trip.

5.00Interesting trip to a local market and then boat trip to the floating village which was very interesting, then out onto the lake. We paid the 11 USD for the rowing boat trip through the mangroves and village which was also interesting. Highly recommend if you would like to see local life. We were lucky enough to be on a private trip and our guide, Ran, was very knowledgable.

5.00The pick-up was on time, so we didn’t have to rush. The vehicle was new, neat, clean, and spacious. Our guide was excellent, with great communication skills and very good time management. We were given enough time to fully enjoy the sights. The boat was also very good, and the sunset on the vast waters of the lake was truly beautiful. A wonderful experience overall.
