Absolute mayhem at collection point and at the centre , no proper explanation of what was going on. Then told we would be late back due to late start. Once on the speed boat things improved and the trip was enjoyable. Caves, canoing lunch etc. Boat crew were excellent. Arrived back at the boat centre at 6.15 ish then 1 hour back to Patong peir in the mini bus. So a 6 hour trip turned into a 10 hour trip. If our ship had only been in for the day I would have been panicking.

On the day we had a dodgy start couldn’t find our pick up driver. So we were an hour late finding him which was an anxious start to the day. When we eventually arrived at the start it was very busy with other tourists doing the same trip! Masses of people being processed and split up into smaller groups around 30 people per speed boat and we were given a coloured band. We then sat for a long time on the speedboat which was noisy from the engine could not hear each other speaking it was uncomfortable all sat wooden seats and couldn’t see out as we were too low down! The trip was not what we thought it was going to be!

Overall, it was a good experience and there are some things that they can improve. This is definitely a tourist trap type experience, you're essentially island hopping and spending only 30-60 mins at one island to take pictures and each destination is overcrowded. We got to spend 1 hour at the last island destination to relax but that went by quick and the drinks were overpriced but we got free watermelon and pineapple from the tour operators, which was nice. First, you arrive at the port and are served a very basic breakfast that includes toast and packaged treats with some beverages. The guide gives an overview of the tour and then you head into the speedboat to the one of the islands. You'll spend some time (30 mins to 60 mins) at one island then go to the next with a lunch at mid-day and then you'll head to the rest of the islands for some time again. I did not eat their provided breakfast since I had a free breakfast at my hotel already. However, the food was very basic but it was a nice gesture and way to get some free small snacks prior to heading out. The departure stated that we would leave at 10:30 am but we didn't actually because the guides gave an overview of the tour and recommended to make extra purchases for "essentials" like a phone water protector, which was not really an essential. The speedboat ride was fine, expect a bumpy and uncomfortable ride since you're going fast and the seats are elevated. The whole experience did feel rushed, you're essentially island hopping and only spending an hour at most at one island. It's mostly for just taking pictures at each of the islands but we did get nearly 1 whole hour at the "Palm Beach Club" towards the end of the day, more about this experience later. The first destination was an island that I forgot but we just canoed around the island and through its caves, very cool experience but definitely overcrowded. It seems that most of the canoe rowers give you a "free" souvenir such as a flower ring so that you'll feel obligated to give them extra money, just be aware of this. The second destination was the James Bond Island and it's just packed with vendors selling junk souvenirs but at least there's a restroom. This destination is overcrowded with other tourists trying to take pictures, really not recommended to swim in since the beach is full of rocks and crushed corals. The lunch was okay, it's mostly vegetarian food, watermelon, and dishes with chicken and no pork products at all since it is a muslim village. I highly recommend to check out the rest of the village for some interesting pictures. However, it is mostly vendors lining the whole area to the more scenic parts. The third destination was some other island and we got to walk around in the cave of the island, the water was waist deep so be prepared to come clothed properly and you are given a hard helmet since the cave is low. Our last destination was the Yao Yai Island that had a little blown up water park with a water slide and the "Palm Beach Club". The drinks were overpriced for sure, expect 150 Baht for fresh coconut that was extremely low quality like it tasted like coconut wine considering how old the coconut was and that it was probably already fermenting. The coconut water did not taste sweet at all and only a hint of coconut taste, when I went to ask the staff to carve out the coconut for me (since I saw them doing that for another customer), they simply gave me a spoon. Then, when I went to carve it out myself, the coconut meat was brittle and just cracked since it was so old! One good thing was that the tour operators gave us two slices of pineapple and watermelon for free and that we had an hour to relax at the island, which went by quickly. In conclusion, this is a tourist trap type experience with vendors selling junk products at nearly every stop, overpriced and poor quality fresh products at the "Palm Beach Club" at the Yao Yai Island, spent only 30-60 mins at each island, and it was heavily overcrowded at each location.

The bus picking us up was 45 minutes late, we still waited around for a half hour for the pre-departure orientation, and the pre-departure oprientation was all but unintelligible. But once we were on the water, everything was great.

I am French and the guide spoke English but I knew it as soon as I booked. Nevertheless I delete my VIATOR application the fact of having received a week in advance and especially in the last 24 hours about twenty messages, which is astonishing.

This was an amazing experience!! 10/10 I definitely recommend for travelers. Our tour guide was Ken and he was a great guide - knowledgable, safe, and kind. We got to visit 5 islands in total. Starting off with kayaking around the caves, then going walking through a cave to see the mangroves, see James Bond Island, food was included to eat at the floating village, and relax and swim on the last island. The last island also had jet-skiing and ATVs for you to rent out. It was perfect and so affordable! Thank you for the best adventure day!

We didnt origonally want to do a whole day but so pleased we did this tour. It was perfect, small broken up speedboat trips to each island. We saw caves, monkeys, beaches. The canoeing was unreal. The scenery so beautiful. The trip to the floating football pitch on ko panyi was sureal. Ending on a great beach with inflatables for the kids. This is a perfect day and one you wont forget.

The islands are very nice to visit but the group is too big. Constantly a crowded and almost no place on the boat. The lunch was unfortunately not good quality.
