What To Expect
Milan
The day tour starts when you meet your English-speaking guide in central Milan. From there, a private air-conditioned coach will take you across the border to Switzerland through stunning scenery and your guide will be on hand to fill you in on the sights.
Lake Como
The best way to experience Lake Como is by boat. A relaxing private boat will allow you to view this tranquil landscape from the water. As you float by, your guide will point out famous villas used as locations for Star Wars and James Bond movies along with the homes of international stars like George Clooney. You’ll also have plenty of time to take pictures or just take in the view with a refreshment from the onboard restaurant. Arriving back in Milan in time for dinner, you won’t believe you managed to see so much in one day, and without ever feeling rushed.

5.00If you’re looking for a day trip to explore some of the best parts of Italy & a sneak peak in to Switzerland- this is perfect! We had the best day. The guide was fantastic. He explained everything well and clearly + we had plenty of free time to explore and enjoy the surroundings of Lake Como. This is highly recommended. We had 2 kids under 12 + 2 adults and a grandmother 70 years old. We all found it one of the best trips we’ve been on. Don’t miss out on this when you’re in Milan… book it!

1.00The day trip from Milan to Lake Como, Bellagio, and Lugano could have been much more effective and enjoyable if the trip had been well-structured. However, there were several issues with the tour. The guide was pleasant, but she seemed uncomfortable speaking in English. The interaction was limited, and she spent most of the bus ride talking to the driver in Italian, which was quite annoying. Everyone was scattered throughout the bus. They provided a radio, which was unnecessary since there were no group activities except for the bus ride and the boat ride. We simply visited places and then had free time everywhere. I could have easily booked everything on my own. This trip was a waste of money and didn’t feel worth it, may be better interacting guide would have made some difference?
