Tybee Island

5.00Arriving at the Sugar Shack on Tybee Island, we met our tour guide, Jack, who greeted us warmly and made sure that we were comfortably blanketed in the six-seater golf cart on a sunny but cool January day. The tour exceeded my expectations- Jack’s background as a professor and her love of nature gave us deep insights into the history and culture of the island and the biodiversity of its flora and fauna made it a unique and rich experience. Highly recommend!

5.00This was the very best part of our trip to the Savannah area. Our tour guide, Jack, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It was clear that she loved her community, and wanted to share it with us. She was also very pleasant and personable. We were a bit worried about an open golf cart tour in January, but she had plenty of blankets and "warm hands" packets to make it more comfortable. Overall, it was a fun and interesting historical tour of a really pretty place.

5.00This tour was fantastic! Jack was wonderful - she was incredibly knowledgeable, as well as kind and funny. We were a family of four - two adults and two kids - and we all really enjoyed it. We highly recommend this tour, it gave us so much more insight into Tybee beyond just being a beach location. And don't be afraid to go on a cold day, Jack had blankets for all and we were very comfortable on a rather chilly day.

5.00A fantastic tour with an excellent guide!! Jac is amazing--a true wealth of knowledge and super personable. Jac was passionate about history and so friendly.. we would definitely take a tour with her again! We had the best time and learned so much about Tybee and its history. The golf cart ride was smooth and easy, and it was great seeing parts of Tybee we had not visited. Highly recommend.

5.00This was so great! This is our second visit to Tybee and we learned so much about its history. The tours are kept small, just large enough to fit on a golf cart, which makes it feel very personal. Our guide Jack was wonderful and so knowledgeable.
