We are the only half day Outer reef tour departing from Port Douglas offering you the opportunity to visit the Outer Reef in 3.5 hours.
We visit our own exclusive snorkelling site and with a maximum of 14 passengers allows you more space to snorkel at your leisure.
The speed boat ride is half the fun and is too fast to get seasick.

What To Expect
3 1/2 hr tour in total 40 minute speed boat ride to get to our Outer Reef Snorkelling area. 1.5 hours of snorkelling off the back of the boat viewing beautiful coral gardens surrounded by marine life and tropical fish. 40 minute speed boat ride back to return to Port Douglas. This tour is number dependent and also requires a suitable wind forecast for us to operate. In the case of not being able to operate this option, we would offer you a Low Isles alternative depending on availability. Need to be a good swimmer for this tour. No glass bottom boat option.

5.00We had a wonderful experience on the outer reef. We saw a white tipped reef, sharks, and more than 100 species of fish on this trip. The boat is fast which helps with any kind of seasickness. The amount of time we snorkel was the appropriate amount of time for a half day trip. This is the only snorkeling company that does half-day reef trips. You were at the outer reef in 45 minutes from boarding the boat. Matthew did exceptional job as the boat driver, providing safety guidance and providing snorkeling instructions prior to entering both of the snorkeling spots my friends, and I had a blast and we would do it again with the reef sprinter organization. This is the second time I’ve used them in 10 years and they’re terrific

5.00Loved the tour! Half day was perfect for our needs as we didn’t have a lot of days, we saw the reef early in the morning before all the tours arrived, the reef was amazing, with the most amazing fishes and sea creatures. Totally recommend it!

5.00We were travelling on Celebrity Edge and selected this private tour to experience snorkelling off Port Douglas. The office is located in the marina and the sprinter boat leaves from the marina. Close to tender drop off and pick up. Kate was extremely helpful from enquire to tour. Matt was our guide and was knowledgeable and helpful. We had a tight timeframe to get back to our tender and Reef Sprinter had no problem with this. Highly recommend Reef Sprinter

5.00This was really great. Having been to the reef before and gotten very sick on the way out, we were keen to try this which was promoted as being very good for those who get sea sick. And it was! Both my husband and I, and our two kids (8 and 11) were absolutely fine on both journeys. The actual snorkelling was fantastic as well. They had prescription goggles for my daughter (bonus), and made sure we were all fitted properly with masks, flippers etc. would highly recommend!

5.00Had a great time. The boat out was quick and 1.5 hrs snorkelling was packed full of fish, coral and sea creatures. Didn't get sea sick although prone.
