Join us on the Downtown Foodie Tour - a short guided walk over 3 hours where you will be visiting four restaurants and tasting four carefully handpicked dishes, each paired with an alcoholic beverage. Along the way you will learn about Jasper’s history and taking in some of the town’s tastiest tales.

What To Expect
Jasper Food Tours is thrilled to announce its grand opening in Jasper National Park! Starting May 26, 2018, foodies and adventurers alike are welcomed to join in daily Downtown Foodie Tours, the first ever culinary walking tour through Jasper’s downtown core. Exploring and learning about Jasper has never been so delicious. Meeting daily at 2:30 PM at the Visitor Information Centre lawn, the 3-hour walking tour brings guests around the town of Jasper sharing history while travelling between four local restaurants and visiting points of interest along the way. At each restaurant, guests will try a top dish and a perfectly paired boozy drink to experience the real taste of Jasper’s food scene. What's on the menu? Not telling. It's all part of the adventure. As guests cruise between each scrumptious stop they will be enjoying not only exquisite eats but some of Jasper’s tastiest tales by getting the rundown of the bewildering history of this spectacular mountain town. The goal? For each guest to leave full, in both body and mind, with memories and cravings for a lifetime!

5.00My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary, and decided to do the Jasper Food Tour, it did not disappoint. Our guide was Nick, and he was fantastic! He was clearly passionate about his job and love for Jasper, and sharing it with others. We learned some new tidbits about Jasper's history, and absolutely loved the learning more about the restaurants and pubs we visited. The food was AMAZING!! Mape Whiskey, who knew? yummy!!

5.00Had a fantastic time on the tour and would definitely recommend! First off, when the other participants on my tour cancelled, the company was kind enough to offer me the option for a one on one tour, joining a different tour time with more people, or a refund. I opted for the one on one, and it was amazing! Tasha is a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable about the town, its history, the surrounding ecology, and especially the inside scoop on the restaurants and restaurateurs we visited. It was great to hear her inside perspective as a resident of Jasper. She also showed me many of the murals, etc. around town and explained the stories behind them. With her in-depth knowledge and kindness she is just a delight. The food itself was also fantastic. Great amount, too - as someone who can eat a lot, I was half-expecting not to be full, but I actually had to pace myself! Definitely recommend this tour as a chill activity between outdoor fun in Jasper.

5.00Nic was an amazing guide! He showed us the wonderful food and drinks Jasper has to offer and spoke to the history of each spot we stopped at. This experience is more than a food tour, there are neat stops along the way at historical landmarks around the town. Very friendly, fun, and delicious! 100% recommend planning this into your trip!

5.00Tasha was incredible! We were in town with a team of 8 for a corporate goal setting for a few days and we opted to do the Food Tour as an afternoons team building and were very impressed! Tasha had a super authentic way about her and had so many cool facts and details about the town that we felt like we were truly getting a view of the community! The restaurants were delicious, the alcohol pairings were great, the walk through the community to see the murals and art were lovely. 100% would recommend and do again!
