Black Tusk stands out prominently with its dramatic, jagged silhouette. The peak is characterized by its dark, almost black, volcanic rock, which contrasts starkly with the surrounding landscape. The top of the peak often appears to be a rugged spire, adding to its impressive and somewhat mysterious appearance.

We had an amazing time. The pace is perfect. Slow and steady for beginners but there is also a little pep for more skilled riders too. Caz was our tour guide and she is just an amazing human! We had lots of fun with awesome views and photos. Our girls 8 and 10 years old loved riding the smaller snow mobiles as well. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you Caz!

Ajay and Will were absolutely awesome! From the start, they made us feel safe and comfortable. We were a family of four with two 5-year-old boys, and this was the perfect adventure for us. They let the boys ride the little snowmobiles, which ended up being the highlight of our entire trip. The snowmobiles themselves are heavy and can feel intimidating, but Ajay and Will explained everything so clearly and made it easy and fun for all of us. We did this experience last year and came back again this year—and we’ll definitely be back next year. Highly recommend for families with kids!

Milo was amazing. He even did a couple of tricks with the snowmobile! Cookies were awesome but the best part was the cider at the igloo.

My children and I absolutely loved our snowmobile tour with Mike B! As my son stated, it was the most fun thing that he’s “ever done on land.” We look forward to returning for snowmobiling and trying out some of their other activities on our next trip!

We were a group of 6 adults and 6 kids. So much fun was had on our tour. Josh our guide tailored and changed the speed to fit our group. The kid snowmobiles and cookie stop were our kid highlights. I loved the gorgeous views. Only gripe was unexpected charge for insurance at the hut, $50 CAD pp after paying on Viator. Overall it was so fun. Thanks Josh for a great afternoon!

Such a well organized and great tour. Was so much fun for the kids. The guides were all so friendly and great company especially Ron! We went for a morning session which was great because when we returned there were so many people waiting for their check in. They make sure you have the right gear for your experience too. Would love to go for more experiences with this group!

tl;dr - go somewhere else. We did the family tour. It sucked. There is a lot wrong here: 1 - The whole tour is “follow the leader” at an excruciatingly slow pace. There’s no fast part of the trail, nor any area where you’re allowed to really experience any adrenaline at all. I can’t emphasize this point enough - this is an extremely calm, slow, uninteresting tour. Your heart rate will not go up. 2 - The trail is poorly maintained and you’ll be bobbing up and down an obnoxious amount. 3 - The machines are old and poorly maintained. My windshield fell off (by itself) twice on the ride. 4 - The process to geared up and get going takes so long (because there isn’t enough staff) that your 2 hr tour will be 90 mins max. 5 - The whole operation is disorganized and you’ll spend a lot of time waiting around for them to figure out who/what/where. As for the positives: 1 - The tour guide was nice and she tried her best. 2 - Nice that they provide transport to/from Whistler village. I’ve had much better experiences on other tours. Go somewhere else and have actual fun.

From pick up to drop off this experience was top notch. The family tour with Vince was a memory we will never forget. Vince did the small things like learning our names and making sure we weren’t freezing. He made sure all ages enjoyed the trip! The kids got to drive mini snowmobiles which was a huge plus for them. Vince took us to several beautiful look out locations and offered to take family pictures. I would 100 percent recommend this snowmobiling experience for families! Thanks Vince for giving us this great experience

We did the best family snowmobile tour on Christmas Day. We went with our 10 & 6 year old and they got to ride their own smaller snowmobile halfway through the tour. Neve & Sam were amazing guides and were great with the kids. Highly recommend and will do it again when we come back.
