This tour was about an hour and a half slow speed ride into the National Park. Views were large open water, lined with trees, and an occasional small beach. We saw several different bird types and several dolphins. The guide was knowledgeable but hard to hear. It was very low key but a means to experience the park if never before.

This boat tour goes through the channel out to the Golf of Mexico and then turns around and comes back. Pretty lame.

Four of us went on the trip, and we had a nice time. The captain was informative, the weather cooperated, and we saw many kinds of birds, lots of dolphins, and even a couple of manatees. Savvy explorers will take a sun hat but also a warm jacket as it gets a bit chilly when the boat goes fast. It was definitely worth the trip down to Everglades City and was a pleasant way to entertain a guest with some mobility issues and her photographer husband. Enjoyable for all ages and good value for the money.

Our family of 7 did the Boat Tour along with the Swamp Buggy Tour. Parking is difficult and exact directions to Everglades National Park Adventures loading site weren't explicit enough. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The boat tour is really a boat ride out to the Gulf viewing the ecology of 10,000 Islands. The wildlife would vary with the day and season I would expect. I think we had a very knowledgeable guide on the trip...however, the boat was full and the speaker system is terrible. I honestly couldn't hear one full thought of what he said. Our family learned very little. His voice came garbaled through the speakers and even standing directly under the speaker I could only make out bits and pieces of what he was talking about. People standing right next to him probably had a fabulous trip, but we bought this package to learn...and it didn't happen for us. The tour is expensive, so a bit of a disappointment. However, the Swamp Buggy Tour part of the package was great. The guide was loud, clear speaking, and extremely knowledgeable. We ended with this good experience and wished the Swamp Buggy Tour were longer. I now know much more about the Everglades.

A wonderful ranger guided tour through Ten Thousand Islands. We all learnt something new about the biodiversity of the area and we saw coastal dolphins.

The boat was comfortable and quiet. The tour guide provided excellent information and access to the 10,000 islands scenery, wildlife, and history. We learned about the changing ecosystem, the different types of water, the park service and state influences, local history, and so much more. We saw many types of birds and dolphins. I highly recommend this boat tour.
