What To Expect
Deep Ellum
The lively Deep Ellum entertainment district is known for its vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries and long-time concert venues for indie and blues. Brewpubs, cocktail bars and Tex-Mex eateries draw a boisterous crowd on weekends, while edgy, experimental drama dominates the program at the time-tested Undermain Theatre, in a warehouse basement.
The Bomb Factory
In 1914, Henry Ford chose this area for his early automobile plant where the Model T was born, and has now become a music venue and event space located in the Deep Ellum district of downtown Dallas, Texas.

She was amazing, friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the neighborhood and the food scene. As we walked through Deep Ellum, she brought the area’s vibrant street art and rich history to life, making the tour feel immersive rather than just a series of food stops. The food itself was outstanding and perfectly showcased bold Texas flavors. The slow smoked, cowboy style BBQ brisket was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The Texas chili con carne was rich and hearty, with just the right amount of spice. The adobada (al pastor) taco was a delicious contrast—savory, juicy, and full of authentic seasoning.
