What To Expect
We will start at Mossman Gorge National Park, which is the southern part of the Daintree Rainforest. Your guide will share their knowledge of the local flora and fauna with you and answer any questions you may have. This is an easy 500m return walk mostly along boardwalks. We enjoy a delicious Morning Tea at the Mossman Gorge Visitors Centre. Your choice of plunger coffee or Daintree Tea with a traditional damper served with jam, honey and cream.

Next we head along the Captain Cook Hwy through the township of Mossman and past the cane fields up to the Daintree Rainforest.

5.00The tour was beautiful!! Andrea was an amazing guide - very fun, knowledgeable about the wildlife/area/culture, and had a great taste in music for the drive home :) He made the whole group feel welcome and we learned a lot on the many stops along the way. Highly recommend

5.00We had an amazing day exploring Mossman Gorge, the Daintree River, the Daintree Rainforest, lunch at Heritage Lodge, swimming in Cooper Creek, Cape Tribulation, the Daintree Ice Cream Company and Mount Alexandra Lookout. Our guide Andrea was a huge part of what made the experience so good. He was incredibly friendly, easygoing and genuinely knowledgeable about the rainforest. He explained the plants, animals and ecosystem in a way that was interesting and stuck with you, and he pointed out details I never would have noticed on my own. You can tell he loves the Daintree and loves what he does, and that made the whole day feel fun and relaxed. I also appreciated that both the restaurant and the ice cream stop offered vegetarian and even vegan options, which made the day feel thoughtful and inclusive. Swimming in Cooper Creek, walking through the rainforest and seeing Cape Tribulation were all unforgettable, but having Andrea as our guide really took it to the next level. I’d recommend him to anyone visiting the area.

5.00We really enjoyed this tour. It was fast paced and we got to see a lot. Our tour guide, Matt, kept everyone entertained the whole time. Morning tea was great and lunch was good too. The ice cream stop was one of the highlights. It was a small group of 9 people and the whole experience felt very intimate and informative. Learned a lot about the rainforest. We also got to see one crocodile during our river cruise. Would highly recommend.
Best visit to the oldest rain forest on the planet.

5.00Such an enjoyable and informative tour. Our guide, Andrea, was a wealth of knowledge and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere whereby the passengers were able to get to know each other. He was such a delight! We were a small group of 9 total. Andrea made sure we were getting what we wanted out of this tour. It was a relaxed and leisurely pace. And thanks to Ken at Martinique on Macrossan for making the booking arrangements on our behalf.

5.00So many highlights throughout the day. The Morning Tea at the Mossman Gorge Visitors Centre was absolutely amazing, kids loved it too. Cooper Creek was beautiful and the Daintree River Cruise was also a highlight. Cape Tribulation was amazing to see, very picturesque. The kids and adults all thought the ice cream from the Daintree Ice Cream Company was the best ever tasted. Perfectly put together itinerary.
