Having done the Grizzly Bear Tour yesterday, seeing whales up close, this was very disappointing. There were humpbacks and orcas and the young orcas were breaching but we were so far away from them, we didn't get any decent sightings.

Had a spectacular day on the water with Team Alexis (Alex and Lexie). Saw humpbacks swimming with dolphins, orcas, porpoises, dozens of bald eagles and an amazing number of steller sea lions up close feeding on salmon. Gorgeous scenery. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and cheerful. Food was excellent and office staff were helpful. We have done a variety of outdoor travel and couldn’t have asked for more on this trip.

  • Tour that is more than just stoopback watching.

Capt. John and biologist Zoe have given us an unforgettable day. Cap. John is very experienced and knowledgeable that is the basis. We have seen several humpback whales and an Orca pot (t023) with 4 orcas. In addition, seals, sea lions and many birds. At least as beautiful is the surroundings. Beautiful coastlines. Unfortunately there was smoke from forest fires which made the choice to go more southward. Good lunch with a delicious wrap, cake and super tasty bar. Break in a beautiful place in a harbor. Overall fantastic. Book the tour, and enjoy (even if there is no humpback whale)

Oh wow. What a fantastic experience. The weather was sunny and hot and quite windy. Conditions were often choppy, There were whitecaps on the water. I was a bit nervous at the start but that soon ended. The boat, small but mighty, handled it like a champ. The skipper/guide was considerate and obviously knew what he was doing. As far as I am concerned the trip through the islands is worth it all by itself. These are weird waters with currents and rapids. Many of the islands have no road access or ferry service. This is wild country. Seeing wildlife is a bonus. We saw several humpback whales, sea lions, and dolphins.

This was the second time for us, a first for our friend who had never been to Canada before. In a week, we have shown her Loggers sports and a baseball game, found a bear, rode a gondola and gone whale watching. So, basically most of what Canada has to offer! The whale watching started a little slow with just some dolphins before the lunch break. I thought we might be in trouble when Marty, our captain, took us to see some rumoured First Nation rock paintings. Basically two barely discernible orange blobs on a rock! But after lunch which was very good, we saw sea lions, seals and then a magnificent lone Orca called Cooper. Then a good humpback sighting and more dolphins on the way in. A great day out and Marty could not have been more friendly or informative. We’re done with bouncing about on zodiacs so the covered boat was really spacious and comfortable.

All day looking for whales and killer whales. For us especially for the orcas this tour chosen. Unfortunately, it became partly a search for whales and dolphins. In itself a nice trip, but with very long stretches of sailing without seeing anything, except beautiful nature. The guide was certainly good, really herself her preference was the dolphin. Because of this, I think no trouble for killer whales.

We would absolutely recommend this tour, it was informative, fun and packed full of animal sightings. Geoff and Lexie found us 7-8 hump back wales and 3 orcas - outstanding! The food at lunchtime was delicious but we suggest you pack extra water if you drink lots , the toilet was very nice for a boat toilet . Great activity for all the family’s 👦

My BFF from Alabama and I had a wonderful time with captain Jarek on our all-day covered boat orca & whale tour. He knew his stuff, whether it was orca sleep habits, humpback whale diving behavior, or history of the islands, and clearly has a passion for the outdoors and learning. We had great whale and orca sightings, and Jarek was able to predict what they'd do next, and position the boat optimally. We had a great time, would gladly do it again, and highly recommend.

Great customer service when booking at the dock. The experience was fantastic. The 6 hour tour was a perfect length to take in all the different areas. Great size boat to accommodate 12 people which is a perfect size group allowing people to move and access viewing of animals. Saw a few humpback whales, seals and plenty of bird life. The guide was amazing with knowledge and interacting with all on board. The lunch provided was of a high standard. Great that the tour and being apart of it helps with sustainability efforts.
