By far the most idiotic maze ever I have seen. There is no logical steps or anything to find the maze end. You have to end at the start. You keep moving back in circles and circles Do it if you have hours to waste time on this nonsense. Don’t ever try with the kids.

Puzzling World was a fantastic experience! The staff were wonderful and the activities kept us entertained. A little heads-up for anyone prone to vertigo like me, AVOID Illusion Room 2. I skipped it, my 4 year old went through with his dad, and came out fine… dad, not so much 😅! After getting our food, we sat at the tables and they had puzzles to solve there too, which was great to witness my son’s valiant attempts at the blocks and rope pulling 😂. Highly recommend for a fun half-day of activities! 🧩🌀

Great fun for all unless you’re scared of weird angles and puzzles! As a family we enjoyed this, leave plenty of time so you can really have a good look at everything you want, get all the photos and don’t forget to go to the toilet!

Be prepared to walk miles for the maze, and have fun in the illusion rooms. I loved every moment as it was my first time being here, as well in the South Island.

Lovely and stress free day visit. Interior is great and toddler safe. Staff was so nice and helpful. If going through the maze with littles, would recommend carrying them or popping them in the pram as there’s a large gap beneath the walls :)

This activity is a short one, I’d say you may get an hour or so out of it with kids before they get bored.

It's OK, just. Not really worth the $100 admission for a family of 4. One child enjoyed it. I think it's an activity that has unfortunately been killed by kids having already seen all of these on the internet.

Great experience for our family of 6. Lots to do, all ages of kids enjoyed the couple of hours we spent in the illusion rooms and the maze.

I went with my grandchildren aged between 7- 10yrs, we are from nz, I thought it was very expensive and the kids found it boring.

We had fun at Puzzling World! We had fun navigating The Great Maze which was big. It was challenging finding the 4 towers in a certain order. We had even more fun indoors with the interactive illusion rooms which had a ton of different exhibits. The Ames House and the Tilted Gallery in particular had everyone laughing. We also had fun trying some puzzles in the Think Take Cafe.
