Dragon Bridge
The tour starts from your cruise ship in Tien Sa port in Da Nang, or Chan May port in Hue. We soon arrive in Da Nang City and stop along the bank of the Han River. Here, we'll spend about 15 minutes at the Love Bridge and the iconic Dragon Bridge, perfect for taking beautiful photos. Measuring 666 meters in length, the Dragon Bridge is shaped like a golden dragon and is one of Da Nang's most famous landmarks.
The Marble Mountains
Marble Mountain: Marble Mountain is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located just south of Da Nang City, Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Water, Fire, Metal, Earth, and Wood. We will visit WATER MOUNTAIN, the most beautiful mountain of five. We will visit the best caves and highlights of Marble Mountains. During the Vietnam War, the Viet Cong (VC) used these caves as hiding places and field hospitals, adding a historical layer to your visit. You'll also have the chance to see the old heliport built by the American Air Force during the war. Several Buddhist sanctuaries are nestled within the mountains, making this a must-visit tourist destination that should not be missed. After that, we will stop by at a 500-year-old sculpture village to view an amazing statues made out of marble at the foot of the mountain.

Chicky and our driver were excellent in keeping us safe and showing us all the things we need to see that locals would tour. We enjoyed the lunch immensely and cheeky even helped us out interpreting to a pharmacist to get some medication. That is definitely going above and beyond the call of duty! We were very pleased with this Tour and recommended highly!

Queyen Sunny & Nam our driver gave us an excellent tour! We visited so many beautiful places including the Dragon bridge & marble mountain which was quite challenging with numerous stairs. We saw exquisite marble statues & walked around colorful Hoi An. The authentic Vietnamese lunch at Vegetable village was so fresh & delicious! The highlight of our tour was the basket boat rowed by a 71 yr old grandma who sang & showed us how to catch crabs! A great bonus was Queyen was our personal photographer & captured so many beautiful memories! Thank you so much!

We booked this private day tour after having gone on bus tours arranged through the cruise line on a couple of our previous ports. For what is ultimately not a lot more money, this experience was much better. While the general itinerary is set, you can spend more or less time at each location based upon your specific interests. Want to haggle with the vendor over some marble Foo Dogs for an hour? Done! Need an extra bathroom break? Done! Want to pull over for a Coconut Coffee? (highly recommended by the way) Done! In addition, everything was as advertised. The car was new and comfortable, pickup and drop-off were as scheduled, and our tour guide (Carol) and driver (Tam), were wonderful (ask for them by name when you schedule - you won't be disappointed).

We had a wonderful day with our guide Peter & driver Tam! We saw DaNang, the marble caves, a marble factory, Hoi A City, a silk factory & a coconut farm where we rode in a basket boat. We had an incredible lunch at a vegetable farm. Our guide spoke great English & he really made the experience fun! I appreciated that he took care to keep us safe & warned of places where we could trip or fall. Our driver Tam was prompt & drove carefully. He was also very friendly & spoke English too. He made sure that we were comfortable with cold water & cold towels! Before returning to the ship we asked for help in buying some dried fruit at a market & were able to get this. This company has excellent communication & gave clear instructions for meeting. Thank you Local Buddy Tours!

Our tour guide Nhi, was excellent. She sent us a picture of the van and where she was waiting for us so we could find her among the multiple tour operators waiting outside the cruise terminal, we had a rainy day (not their fault), but she was very accommodating in our requests and made sure we got to see everything, we had a very nice local lunch and they made sure we were back at the cruise terminal before the ramp up time with some time for some dock shopping. Overall, highly recommended and would use them again.

We had a wonderful small-group tour in Hoi An and were lucky to have two amazing tour leaders. Both were kind, caring, and very attentive. Chicky picked us up at the port while it was pouring rain. The driver was thoughtful enough to offer us towels to dry ourselves, which we really appreciated. When Chicky realized that another large group was one big family and vegetarian, he was concerned that we might be left out. He quickly rearranged things for us and moved us to another group with a bigger van — such thoughtful and professional service. During the trip, Sunny shared many interesting stories and experiences that made our journey truly unforgettable and filled with great memories. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Perfect tour. Very nice and informative. Our host TUNG was very helpful. The tour was a perfect experience even it was heavily raining. The temples, the marble mountain, the restaurant in the 'vegetable town' as well as Hoi An left impressing memories. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a great day in Da Nang and Hoi An with our guide Peter. Although it was raining, he did an amazing job of showing us around his country and detailing its history. During the tour, he even talked to my mother-in-law in the USA by phone about her experience in Da Nang before she evacuated in 1975. I would highly recommend this tour.
