Coast Warriors is Sydney’s chilled out small group tour operator own and run by Aussie locals. We target the fitter 17 to 60ish years of age travellers though older is fine if you can bushwalk and like what you see advertised :)
This tour offers one of Sydney's highest reviewed experiences for those seeking a relaxed Blue Mountains option. Our tours are run by fun local Aussies with the aim of being less of a tour and more of a feeling of a small group of mates on a day trip.
We have now been running this adventure for many years so you can put trust that we will take you to only the best and less touristy places within the Blue Mountains. Waterfalls, amazing lookouts, Glenbrook cafe stop (locals cafe), the Three Sisters at Katoomba, occasionally a kangaroo and often birds. This is a full day in the Blue Mountains generally away from all the tourists and other mainstream tour bus locations. Aussie snacks like Tim Tams & Vegemite are on offer too.

It’s a great chance to meet other solo travellers. We had Zack as our tour guide and he made the whole experience as fun as possible. I feel really lucky to have had him as our trip leader. We saw some beautiful sites without all the added extras (like the zoo and wildlife parks) which I found in most packages. I was really happy with this trip and found it super reasonable for everything that it offered. Overall though, the five stars are for our fantastic trip guide. Thanks Zack!

We had a fantastic time on this tour with our guide Kieran. He was knowledgable and funny and kept us entertained on the way with information and trivia. The walk was amazing and Kieran pointed out wildlife and answered questions. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

It rained almost the entire day, and for much of the tour, we only saw fog. But we all laughed through it. Our guide was fabulous and the experience was fun despite the fog. The fog did break for a few minutes, and it was beautiful.

This tour was poor due to the guide, Ben. He berated a family of 4 in front of everyone for not keeping up. He was abrasive, unfriendly, and confrontational. My husband threw away the coffee cup at his (my husbands) seat- and Ben flipped out on him. The family of 4 said they felt anxiety being around Ben. Would never recommend this guide. Easy to get a better tour company that hires friendly guides-needed when dealing with tourists!

Had a very good experience with this tour company. The guide was very good and super informative all day long. Pick-up was on time and very near to my hostel. The day was comprehensive with different beautiful lookout points at the Blue Mountains. also the hike was perfect, not too strenuous but great to be in the gorge with the waterfall. Lunch was good as well. Would definitely recommend!

Zach our guide was great, the views we saw and the stops were worth the cost, however, we were able to enjoy about 1/2 the opportunities to see the views due to knee issues. Our score is because the description says a moderate fitness level was required, which we both met. It was the steepness and the no handrails that informed our decision (with the approval of our guide) to not attempt the hike to the falls. Fortunately, other tour members shared their photos.

This trip is amazing, our guide (Zac) was funny, professional and very informative. The Blue Mountains are beautiful, the hike was perfect - the groups needs were accommodated and respected. This trip is really well constructed, perfectly timed and super slick. A great way for a solo (or any) traveller to experience the amazing Blue Mountains Seldom has a trip like this so over delivered, huge congratulations to the company and to Zac x

Excellent trip. Ben the guide was amusing, knowledgeable (and easy on the eye). He made the trip fun and enjoyable and we made friends along the way. Varied mix of nationalities and ages but we all mucked in together. Lunch was much better than anticipated. The walk to the waterfall was tough... lots of steep steps, but plenty of handrails and the dip in the waterfall and swim made it very worthwhile and worth the effort.

We loved our trip to the beautiful Blue Mountains. We appreciated that this tour focused on the nature and not other touristy activities; that’s why we chose it. The stops were well chosen and the itinerary was well paced, with stops included for food and bathrooms. The hike was late morning before lunch and before the highest heat of the day. We were happy that most of the hike was in the shade under a cliff. We’re a retired couple and don’t hike as fast as some of the younger people on the tour and we knew we were not going to do the optional part of the hike down to the waterfall. I’m glad I used the AllTrails app to track the hike because this made it easy to find our way back to the parking lot when we fell behind the others in the group. This is a tip for anyone else in a similar situation.

The day started at George Street. Kieran, our tour guide arrived on time, proceeded to board larger groups first so that they could sit together. I thought that was a good idea. We left at about 7:40am and headed to the blue mountains. On our way, Kieran had heard some kangaroos were spotted near a park so he made a detour so that the group could spot it. We went to Wentworth falls. Kieran was patient with the group, making sure everyone had information to assess their own fitness level when going down into the canyon for the waterfall walk. We visited other lookouts and ended at the three sisters where we had about 1 hrs to explore and got back to George Street about 5:30pm. Kieran gave us some tips about what to do in Sydney. Overall, the tour was not rushed, it is a great way to experience something out of Sydney, see the landscape and nature. I will recommend and kudos to Kieran for making the tour a great experience.
