You will then hop aboard the Maid of the Mist where you will take in the views of the Majestic Falls from the water.

Cave of the Winds

First, you will be given the opportunity to get as close as possible to Niagara Falls by taking part in the Cave of the Winds tour. An elevator will be waiting to take you into the Niagara Gorge where you will be sent on your way to explore wooden walkways with a tour guide. The walkways will get you as close to the falls as possible.

Wear shoes that you can walk in after you get wet. You will get wet. Emma was an amazing guide and gave us lots of little tips that were invaluable. We are on our annual sister trip and this was one of the few things we booked on our trip. We are so glad we booked the full tour and not just the Maid of the Mist because the Cave of the Winds was amazing as well.

Showed up 15 minutes early as directed with my party of seven people. The tour guide did not show up until 30 minutes after the scheduled start time. The site says each tour is capped at 10 people there would have been 17 in my group if my son my husband and i were able.to stay. This was scheduled to last 3 hours and it took closer to four and a half hours because the party was so large. Waiting for eveyone on and off the boats and on the elevators and so on. The tour guide left the party before it was completed because she had " another tour scheduled." My son got violently ill right before we started the tour and could not continue with the trip. I was told I would ve given a refund for 3/7 people in my party as 3 of us could not go. I had to email the company they then informed me by email they would not be giving me a refund. The rest of my party that did do the tour said this was not a true tour as the "guide" was not on the maid of the mist or in the caves. She just walked them to the next place. I asked for compassion on their part as things did not go right on their end either. They did not respond just sent me links to review them so here I am. Save your money. They dont care about people.

She was attentive, and considerate. Also she was a safe driver. I have a cdl and notice these things. I also walk slow now and at times could not hear her because I fell behind. However she warmly repeated whatever I did not hear.

If I could rate this tour group zero stars I would. Tour meet up location completely unmarked. Tour guide late showing up by over 15 minutes. When booking the tour showed 3.5 hours. Our parking was only good for four hours so had to leave the tour midway through because it’s actually over 5 hours of practically running to keep up with the tour guide, who by the way had a bunch of useless information that you will hear from the places visited without him. Customer service was useless and offered no help. Said they would call me back multiple times after calling their phone line then never called me back. Tour guide also gave us his number then never answered his phone when called. Do yourself a favor and just buy tickets for the maid of the mist and the cave of the winds directly from the venues. The lines were non existent to buy the tickets there and it was a very busy Saturday. You will have to wait in lines to get into the events REGARDLESS of where you buy the tickets. Tour companies DO NOT move you through ANY lines faster. What a waste of money booking through See Sight!!!!!
