What To Expect
Pick up from zhangjiajie airport/Train station/Hotel Visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Glass Bridge
Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge
Guide and driver pick you up , then transfer to zhangjiajie grand canyon & Glass bridge . Will first chek in the scenic area, and walk accross the world's longest glass bottom bridge. This bridge is not only the highest, but also the longest glass bridge in the world. It is not for the faint-hearted. (the Glass bridge is built between two mountains of zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, it is 375 meters long and 6meters wide. With a height of 300meters from bottoms) .
The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie
After crossing the glass bridge , you can choose to experience the exciting zip line and slide to get to the bottom of the vallery , or just walk stairs down . then Hike about 2Hours through the canyon and enjoy the beautiful landscape of breath -taking cliffs , lush forests, caves, colourful streams and rivers that surround you. (you can experience the ZIP LINE , SLIDE , VR MOVIE and elevator to save your energy , 100rmb all in , not inlcuded. )
Golden Whip Brook
After that , we can do a soft hiking in Golden whip stream for about 30 minutes, to enjoy the beauty of peaks and stream at the foot of the mountain. Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi) – this charming valley is most likely to bring you into the Pandora's wonderland of the movie Avatar. You will have a leisure hiking about 1 hours along the stream. You can just relax yourself with the beautiful mountain, fresh air, and pure water .
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Tianzi Mountain-Yuanjiajie-Bailong elevator)

Guide and driver meet you up at 8:30am, 5 minutes private car transfer to the gate of Zhangjiajie National forest park,the park shuttle bus will take you to visit Tianzi Mountain cable way station , after ascending the mountain by cable way you will visit the Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, Xihai Stone Forest, and other incredible views and scenery await.
After that we will take a Shuttle bus for 30 minutes get to Yuanjiajie, with a 1.5-hour easy walk to the Pillar of Southern Sky, an inspiration for Hallelujah Mountains in the movie, Avatar. From there, you will proceed to the Platform of Forgetfulness to admire nearby peak-views before walking across the First Bridge Under Heaven

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Afterward,,we wil drivevto Zhangjiajie city to visit the Tianmen moutain. (VIP line for cable car ride in case the waiting time is longer than 30 minutes. if there is no line for waiting , we will serve you a local dinner instead ) Appearing as the ”New Legend Of Zhangjiajie “, It’s the highest spot (1518.6m) in the whole Zhangjiajie area. The landscape there is totally different from, meanwhile, at the same level as the ZJJ national Park. Both are world-class scenery. Unbelievably, this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records , and any of them will be overwhelmingly impressive to the traveler . we will experience a 7.5 km’s cable way ride , sky walk , 999 steps and 99 curves Tongtian Road. .

5.00We would highly recommend this tour. We asked to make a few changes to the original itinerary, and these were accommodated without any issues. Our tour guide was Xingxi (we hope we’ve spelled her name correctly). She was incredibly passionate about her hometown and eager to share it with us. Throughout the tour, both in the car and on walks, she pointed out interesting details we would have otherwise missed. She also took beautiful photos of us and even made sure we had the best spots at popular tourist attractions, which we really appreciated. We saw some truly incredible places, and we’re so glad we chose this tour.

5.00Emilia (叶佳欣) was absolutely the best tour guide!! Right from the start, she impressed us – waiting at the airport holding a sign with our names. She took us to amazing spots in Zhangjiajie, always full of enthusiasm, sharing tons of interesting info, and smiling constantly! Speaking both English and Chinese perfectly, she made our experience so much richer. Emilia was incredibly attentive. She made sure we knew we could reach her anytime, whether we needed to find a supermarket, order dinner, or just wanted her fantastic recommendations beyond our planned itinerary. She took us to amazing scenic spots and took a lot of pictures for us! She’s bright, sweet, and packed with energy – laughing and making everything fun! Thank you so much, Emilia! 5.00Our 3-day adventure in Zhangjiajie was truly exceptional, showcasing the breathtaking natural beauty of China. We extend our sincere gratitude to our youthful, energetic, and affable tour guide Gabby, who facilitated our exploration of all major attractions as requested, including a Sightseeing Tram ride through the Ten-Mile Natural Gallery, a leisurely hike along the serene Golden Whip Stream, a relaxing boat experience on Baofeng Lake, and a ride on the Bailong Elevator, the world's tallest outdoor lift. We also explored the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and rode the world's longest cable car to Heaven's Gate. The breathtaking scenery at every turn was simply captivating. Without the expert arrangement and professional services provided by Catherine Lu Tours, we would not have achieved such an extraordinary experience and satisfaction.

5.00With this tour we saw all that we wanted to see; the days are intense but you have a lot of time. For 3 days don't think for the tickets, the bus and the organization is nice. The driver was really good and super punctual, but the star was our guide: she knows all about the places, she speaks very well and she is super friendly. I really appreciate the info about the time of travel (bus, cablecar,...) and the snacks that she gives us from her bags (like Mary Poppins). She was also very helpful with a lot of advice for the evening. Super Tour, super locations and Super Team.

5.00We recently completed a 4-day private tour of Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Ancient Town with Jasmine as our guide, and it was truly a memorable journey! The tour covered iconic sites such as the scenic Tianmen Mountain, the breathtaking Glass Bridge, and a visit to a traditional Miao village. As an ethnic Miao, Jasmine provided detailed and captivating insights into the history of the tourist sites, as well as the culture of both the Tu and Miao peoples—the predominant minorities in Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Ancient Town. Her knowledge and storytelling added incredible depth to our understanding of the region. The tour was also very flexible; our visit to the Miao village was a last-minute decision, and we deeply appreciate Jasmine’s efforts to accommodate our request seamlessly. Overall, Jasmine’s professionalism, warmth, and expertise made this trip an enriching and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone exploring this beautiful part of China!

5.00Gaby, Venus and our driver were absolutely amazing and accommodating. We wouldn't have been able to see or do as much if it weren't for Gaby whilst at ZhangJiaJie and Tianmenshan. The hotels they booked for us were wonderful and well-located near all the scenic spots, so we could there early! I would highly recommend booking with this company and would gladly do it again on my next trip to China.

5.00Had an amazing time exploring Zhangjiajie this November with my friends. Gabby was the best tour guide we could have asked for. She was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned a lot about Zhangjiajie. Unfortunately it was raining heavily on our last day but Gabby was very accommodating and made the best of it. Our trip would not have been the same without her. Thank you Gabby!
