What To Expect
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
It is a famous tourism destination in Hunan province which was officially recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992. The pillar-like formation seen through the park are the result of many years of erosion. With over 90% forest coverage, the scenic area comprises Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Jinbian Stream and Wulongzhai. The minority culture and folklores are represented in nearby villages and towns, inhabited by Tujia, Bai, Miao and Hui people, making worthwhile side trips.
BaiLong Elevator
It is the highest and fastest sightseeing elevator in the world and provides a spectacular view of the sandstone peak forest. It has a height of 326 meters and can carry 3,000 people an hour in the three transparent elevators. It only takes 88 seconds to travel to the top of the mountain.

5.00Wendy was an amazing guide. She was very patient and helpful as we were travelling with our daughter. She was so thoughtful that she sent us a video of snowing Zhangjiajie, the day after our trip, which was straight out of fairytale. The trip planner and guide accommodated us to also visit Tianmen on the same day.

5.00Excellent tour led by our English speaking guide Wendy who is such a professional and knowledgeable guide. She is also very helpful by helping take pictures of us, telling us where the best spots were and going out of her way to help us get tickets for another tourist spot which was not part of the itinerary. And even gave us souvenirs as a surprise at the end of the trip! Overall the sightseeing at Glass bridge and the Avatar mountains were amazing, definitely worth the visit! Wendy brings energy, passion and excitement to the tour!
