Late arrivals will not be entertained and joining midway is not feasible for the tour. Please arrive the meeting point on time.

5.00Wonderful experience and wonderful guide! This was probably the most pleasant guided trip I have been on - our very friendly, open and knowledgeable guide Yasushi told us all about the Shirakawa Go, the Wada house and the Kanazawa city. A good portion of information, beautiful views pointed by our guide, comfortable ride and quite a bit of fun :)

5.00Deeply enjoyable experience, Yasushi was a great tour guide. He made the bus journey very enjoyable. He sheared a lot of interesting facts and stories. The quizzes ware also interesting. His personality and approach brought much joy. Village was also stunning, and the provided village map was very helpful. Yasushi also shared unexpected stories about how people in shirakawa made money while visiting one of the houses. Great experience!

5.00It was an early morning (leaving at 07:50) which was great as we got there before the heavy crowds and the rain. Our guide Yasushi was very enthusiastic, helpful and funny. He taught us about the village and Japanese history. Once in Shirakawago you have free time for a few hours, plenty of time to enjoy, including seeing the scenery from the observatory high point which is easy to walk to and the rest of the village. We saw Wada house which Yasushi gave us a mini tour in. For food, the pudding house is great and the hida beef sticks are very tasty. Overall great experience.

5.00What a great experience! Shirakawago is somewhere I'd always wanted to visit and the tour did not disappoint. The guide Yasushi provided fun and informative facts about Japan, Kanazawa and Shirakawago on the way and despite the poor weather (heavy rain!) we still had a great time thanks to the map provided with helpfully marked locations.
