So, it is expensive. The food, admission, and mark up on everything. BUT- paying more to get the express pass is worth every, EVERY PENNY, even in this crunch of economic strife. Your money is time, spend it accordingly. This is my second visit (first review) and again worth it. Using the express pass and getting in the door shortly after opening, we rode all of the rides (including the studio tour) in short order. This left plenty of time for snacks, actual dining (seating for a sit down meal became an issue- no express pass for that!). This visit we did not so the Water World stunt show. This was the only piece we missed. It was a full day, but we saw everything. Factors to consider when using my review to consider a trip to this location. I was able to use a military base to purchase tickets at a smaller discount than other locations. The add-on for express pass was not discounted. I was traveling with only my teenage daughter so I cannot comment on strollers, parent swap for rides, or other family related topics. Staff were helpful and pleasant. And in character! Yes- a wand chose us! Overall I would like to visit again in the future. On an unrelated note, the park is well kept. I have not reviewed Legoland officially on this platform. The difference in the upkeep of the LegoCity (sun damaged, spider webs, and in some disrepair) the Universal property is very well maintained, trash is orderly, and the spaces are newly painted.

Loved the Simpsons area and the Water World show. The City Walk had a good selection of restaurants. Overall the whole experience is so expensive though. We paid over $130 for a regular ticket plus $40 for regular parking. They have a huge ramp with ample space yet they still charge $40!? Ridiculous. Then you walk over a mile from the ramp, through City Walk, to get to the gates of the park. Clearly designed to get you to spend more money but it just is too much. It was fun to go once but I wouldn’t go back. Many of the rides are virtual experiences instead of an actual ride or roller coaster. The virtual rides make us nauseous.

If you like standing in lines all day you’ll love this. It was a complete waste of money! I would definitely NOT recommend!

I think overall our trip to Universal Studios Hollywood was really good and honestly a lot of fun. One of our main goals was to get on every ride in the park, and for the most part we were doing really good and staying on track. But when we got in line for Mario Kart, there were some technical issues that ended up slowing everything down a lot. Because of that delay, we ended up missing the studio tour ride, which was pretty disappointing since that was one of the rides we really wanted to do. Even with that, the experience turned around at the end. As we were leaving, we found out about the annual pass options and decided to stop by guest relations. That’s where Brandon Arroyo helped us, and honestly he made a big difference. He took the time to help us get set up with annual passes and really made the process smooth. On top of that, he went above and beyond by giving us an express pass for the studio tour ride so we can come back and not miss it again. I also had my niece with us, and since the annual pass only covered immediate family, he was able to give her a pass to come back the next day, which was really thoughtful and appreciated. So even though we hit a small bump during the day, the customer service we got—especially from Brandon—really made up for it. Definitely left feeling good about coming back again.

We mistakenly bought 5 tickets for a Tuesday instead of a Monday and realized our mistake when we arrived at the gate. We contacted them Monday morning and they said there could be no changes w/ in 24 hrs and that was it. There is no supervisor available to speak to. How difficult is it to modify a digital weekday ticket. We lost hundreds of dollars. It is in these circumstances that you could show that you actually care about customers. Instead we will never do business with you again and will warn others @ Viator.

My daughter brought me here for a birthday trip.I'd never been here before. We did the VIP tour, which was awesome! The tour guide, Victor, was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, funny, entertaining and made sure everyone was taken care of.

I'm just gonna cut straight to the chase, I don't really think this was worth it. The rides were all mediocre, except for the Mummy one, but even that was underwhelming. Hopefully, the new Back to the Future one is good, but that's going to take a while to come out. Bart Simpson's ride was THE MOST underwhelming of them all, almost made me sick. I GOT STUCK ON THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS RIDE(only 10 minutes, but still very bad). Also, if you don't have Express, you're basically cooked. The wait time is soooo long(esspecially mario). The food was ok, I guess, but the butterbeer WAS BANGIN(10/10). Overall, it was 3 stars. If you want to go there for the rides, choose another theme park, but just for the experience, maybe not.
