What To Expect
Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
New experience in Ubud to visit the popular sacred monkey forest, we will find around 700 Balinese long tailed macaques in wild. Walk along the 12.5 hectares forest as the perfect place for the healthy monkeys. Find three temples inside guarded by the monkeys live in harmony.
Tegalalang Rice Terrace
Drive to the north of Ubud to stop at the magical Tegalalang rice terrace to see the real traditional farmer activities in their daily activities. Have a short walk among the lush green rice field view.

What really stood out was their knowledge—they shared so much interesting insight about the local culture, history, and each place we visited. It made the tour much more meaningful. 5.00Our tour guide Win was the absolute best guide we’ve had on any of our travels. He was so informative about the city and the sites and had great energy. Made it such an enjoyable experience and his English was excellent which was super helpful. Was very accommodating to the groups needs and overall a 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn the history of Bali, the people here and some of the historic sites.

5.00Vitho was very communicative and right on time to take us all the way up to UBUD and the surrounding areas. He was very patient with the encountered traffic and took care of us in acquiring our entrance tickets, etc. He was especially knowledgable about the Hindu Temple that we visited - a highlight of the tour. A Viator suggestion is to update this event - as the D'Alas Warung restaurant is no longer featured in this tour --- it was one of the reasons we selected it. We did not mind paying to visit this restaurant, but other guests may feel differently. We felt badly for Vitho being caught in the middle of this error. But he handled it very professionally.

5.00We booked with Smile Bali Tours based on ratings from other travelers. We had a great day together with our excellent guide, Win. We can’t thank him enough for taking such great care of us. He reached out the evening before on WhatsApp introducing himself and then sent us a message in the morning informing that he was waiting outside the cruise terminal. Once in the car we discussed the planned itinerary and he made some adjustments to fit with our departure time. During the day and while driving between the different sites we learned a lot about the local life and history of Bali through conversations with Win. We visited a local tea/coffe producer, Monkey Forest, Tegallalang Rice Terrace, Tegenunean Water Falls, and Bali Swing All-in-all a great day with a great host and driver!

5.00We had such an incredible day on the Ubud All-Inclusive Private Guided Tour, it was definitely one of the highlights of our Bali trip! We visited so many amazing places including the Monkey Forest (which was wild — literally! Pro tip: don’t wear a bandeau top… a cheeky monkey pulled mine down and gave everyone a show 😂), a coffee plantation where we tried lots of different coffees including the famous one made from animal poop, the beautiful rice fields, and the swings (felt very random but actually so much fun — I ended up in a dress getting photos on multiple swings!). We also visited a holy water temple and a stunning waterfall — such a great mix of experiences. The lunch included was absolutely delicious, and enjoying it while overlooking the rice fields made it even more special. A huge shoutout to our driver Dewa — he was absolutely fantastic. So friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day run smoothly. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see the best of Ubud in one day, and if you get Dewa, you’re very lucky!
