Great experience! Learned so much from Shoko about the markets and she was absolutely amazing at bringing us together as a group. She was very caring and made sure we had time to stop and buy snacks from the market to try (as it closes early and we would have missed out after our sushi class) she also was very informative. Sushi class with Kate and Coco also amazing. Learned the sushi hold and actually tried sushi for the first time - which was amazingly fresh. Such a great time overall

Really great time touring the market and then having a Sushi making class with a real Sushi chef. What was even better was eating all the sushi at the end which tasted like something you would get from a restaurant or better because we made it ourselves. This was a really fun day for the family and would highly recommend this experience. Tal Spokane, Washington

Akiko gave us a tour of the fish market and then took us to sushi making. She is very smart, informed, kind, and helpful. Based on how attentive and kind she is, it is no surprise that she is a retired kindergarten teacher. She took us to the more reasonable shops, and even stood in line for us so we could enjoy touring the market. I definitely recommend her.

The two parts of this tour were both fantastic! The Tsukiji Fish Market was fascinating. To call it a fish market is a disservice because it has so many other businesses. There are over 400 family businesses at the market! Shoko, our amazing, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable guide, gave us one of the best tours I’ve ever had. After the fish market tour, she asked our group of four if we wanted to visit a Buddhist Temple and a Shinto Shrine, and we all readily agreed. She shared so much information about the two places, and the history and basic information about each. The sushi-making class was so fun and informative. Kate (her English nickname) was a great teacher and had a great personality! All the staff were super helpful also. The food was delicious!
