Whether visitor or long time local, this hunt is an amazing and entertaining way to learn about the city. Created as a 'best of' activity, by the time you finish, you will know a lot about Astoria!

Our hunts are self paced. Participants can make it a friendly competition among themselves or take a relaxed approach. This is your activity, and you can do whichever you like!

What To Expect

1) Participants will receive an email with 25 clues to locations all around Bend. 2) With the clues you will attempt to find destinations around the city! Most clues can be searched online, but to figure out the tougher ones, you may have to ask locals. 3) By visiting landmarks, businesses, and other interesting locations, you will learn all about Bend! 4) Take selfies and email photos with your group at any time to earn a completion certificate and possible other prizes!

My partner and I live in Bend but this was a fun way to see areas we havn't explored yet. We brought our dog along for the ride and we all had a blast! It was a lot of fun being a tourist in our own city and learning history that we had no idea about!

Get a electric bike or a car to do this activity. In summer it can get hot stay hydrated and wear a cap

The clues were a perfect combination of fun with knowledgeable information to learn about Bend and some of its history. Really enjoyed getting locals involved to help us find our clues, they were all so nice and excited for our search.

1st time in Bend and here with friends. This was a great way to start the trip & get to know the city. Make it competitive if you can! Sunday morning and the streets were filled with people willing to help you. Don’t use phones except to take pictures to add a degree of difficulty. Thanks John for your guidance.

My mom and I did this scavenger hunt for her birthday and had a great time! I learned new things about Bend after already living here for a bit, and the hunt was a great way to introduce the city to my mom who just moved here. Thank you for a fun day!
