Our NJ location features 7 immersive escape rooms, including our newest game, The Depths, and our most difficult adventure, Prison Break. Each escape room holds up to 8 players excluding Playground, which can accommodate up to 12 players.

We offer shared experiences, which means multiple groups can book into the same game. If you would like to ensure a private experience, make sure to book all available spots. If the available spots do not match the game capacity, that means another group has already booked spots in this game.

Games are recommended for ages 13 and up. Younger players are allowed, but some of the game content may be too difficult for them. An adult, 18 or older, must participate with anyone that is 14 and under. Also, any participants under the age of 18 will need an adult to sign their waiver.
You will be in a room with a locked door, but every door is equipped with an exit button. Should you feel the need to leave the room, you are welcome to do so at any time.
Each game is designed for one hour of intense fun! Plan to spend 15 minutes prior to each game preparing and briefing for your mission, and 15 minutes after each game to debrief and take photos.
The Escape Game experiences are very different from what you typically see in other escape rooms. These games aren't scary or dark. They are exciting, adventurous, and something all guests can enjoy.
Unless you book all the spots in a game, our games have the potential to be shared experiences, which means others could book into your game and join your team.

What To Expect
Here’s how it works: You and your team will work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and ultimately complete a mission. Escaping will require teamwork, communication, wits, a sense of adventure, and most importantly: YOU! Once you arrive, a dedicated game guide will take you on to your adventure and help you as needed. You will have exactly 60-minutes to complete the mission in your adventure and escape. Choose to play one of seven uniquely immersive games: - Special Ops: Mysterious Market: Uncover the truth as a secret agent! - The Heist: Recover a stolen masterpiece from an art thief! - Playground: Complete your report card and get to summer break! - The Depths: Find the secrets of an undersea laboratory! - Prison Break: Complete your daring escape! - Gold Rush: Find the hidden gold! - Cosmic Crisis: Destroy the black hole!

5.00We had such an amazing time at The Escape Game! We did the Gold Rush room and loved it! The room was super unique and really well put together, and the puzzles were the perfect level of challenging but not impossible. But the best part of the experience was the staff. Both the employee in the front and the one helping us through the room were so warm, welcoming, and friendly. If a physical task was taking too much time or we had the answer and just struggled getting the lock off, he would quickly let us know and add time accordingly. They really want to see you get out! Definitely more difficult with only two, but still absolutely worth the trip. We will definitely be coming back to try the other rooms!

5.00My friends and I did not plan to go to The escape room at American dream we just happened to walk pass and just did it. Great choice. The game we choose was Gold Rush because it was starting a few minutes as we arrived, have to say that was the hardest escape we played. We wanted to give up but as we unlocked and get thur each door it became more exciting and we escaped with just 3 min left on the clocked. Great experience overall Cannot remember the guy name that took us through the tour but he was great also he had blond highlights. Awesome job!

5.00Amazing anniversary night out! Escaped the Gold Rush with just the two of us, with about 5 minutes to spare. Love the realism! Jack the Game Guide was SUPER helpful, nice and sweet, and was an absolute pleasure! Highly recommend!!!
