The Escape Game Minneapolis is inside of the famed Mall of America, a 4-level mall with hundreds of food, shopping, and entertainment options. You'll find us on the 3rd floor, East. Some of our favorite spots to grab a bite to eat at MOA include Burger Burger, Margaritaville, and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. — perfect for a pre- or post-game meal. Don't forget to check out Cinnabon for some hard-earned cinnamon rolls after your game!
The Escape Game Minneapolis features 7 immersive escape rooms, including our outer space adventure, Mission: Mars, and our most challenging game, Prison Break. Each escape room holds up to 8 players, except for Special Ops: Mysterious Market, which can accommodate up to 7 players.

Games are recommended for ages 13 and up. Younger players are allowed, but some of the game content may be too difficult for them. An adult, 18 or older, must participate with anyone that is 14 and under. Also, any participants under the age of 18 will need an adult to sign their waiver.
You will be in a room with a locked door, but every door is equipped with an exit button. Should you feel the need to leave the room, you are welcome to do so at any time.
Each game is designed for one hour of intense fun! Plan to spend 15 minutes prior to each game preparing and briefing for your mission, and 15 minutes after each game to debrief and take photos.
The Escape Game experiences are very different from what you typically see in other escape rooms. These games aren't scary or dark. They are exciting, adventurous, and something all guests can enjoy.
Unless you book all the spots in a game, our games have the potential to be shared experiences, which means others could book into your game and join your team.

What To Expect
Here’s how it works: You and your team will work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and ultimately complete a mission. Escaping will require teamwork, communication, wits, a sense of adventure, and most importantly: YOU! Once you arrive, a dedicated game guide will take you on to your adventure and help you as needed. You will have exactly 60-minutes to complete the mission in your adventure and escape. Choose to play one of seven uniquely immersive games: - Gold Rush: Find hidden gold in the California hills! - Prison Break: Complete a daring escape from the evil warden! - Special Ops: Mysterious Market: Uncover the truth as a secret agent! - The Heist: Recover a stolen masterpiece from an art thief! - Mission: Mars: Launch your spaceship from the Red Planet! - Cosmic Crisis: Destroy the black hole! - The Depths: Uncover the lab's secrets!

5.00Our family (mom, 13 year old son and 10 year old daughter) had so much fun we just kept coming back for more! We escaped 5 rooms in 3 days - Prison Break, The Heist, Gold Rush, Special Ops: Mystery Market, and Mission: Mars. The Heist was our favorite. We also really liked Gold Rush because we were able to solve it without any hints. Prison Break was really cool and well designed, but super hard (we needed several hints). Special Ops was a little scary for our daughter (it was later at night after a long day at MOA, so that may have played a role) - but Mack and brought her a stuffy to comfort her - so sweet! Overall the puzzles were challenging yet fun and we had a blast! The staff was also amazing!! Shout out to Michael, Mack, Kira, Grace, Keran, and Zack - thanks for making our experience off the charts! They also gave my daughter a stuffy for her birthday - the best customer service ever! 5 STARS
