I had a wonderful experience on the LBJ Ranch and Fredericksburg tour from San Antonio. Even though I was the only guest, the tour still ran as scheduled, which I truly appreciated. Special thanks to Jose for accompanying me throughout the entire day. He was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely warm. Jose shared engaging stories about LBJ Ranch, President Lyndon B. Johnson’s life, and Texas history, and kept the experience interesting and informative the whole time. Despite being a solo tour, he remained enthusiastic and attentive, making it feel like a private, personalized experience. The stop in Fredericksburg was well paced, and Jose offered helpful suggestions based on my interests, allowing me to enjoy the town without feeling rushed. This tour made me feel truly valued as a guest. I’m very grateful for Jose’s dedication and the company’s commitment to quality service. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in Texas history and a more personal travel experience.

It was really great, despite the bad wheather. The guide was really nice and knowledgeable. The only minor drawback of the experience is that I wish I could have spent a little more time in Fredericksburg.

I selected this trip because of an interest in seeing the LBJ sites, and it fulfilled that desire and provided much more. LBJ’s childhood home, his ranch, and his one-room schoolhouse were all interesting. We had lunch in the tourist village of Fredericksburg, bustling with restaurants, shops and all, enjoying some German Apple strudel among other things, and then stopped at the iconic music venue of Luckenbach, Texas and at a winery for wine tasting! It was a very full day, and although a light rain/mist dampened the day, it did not detract from the excellent tour. Our guide Mike was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the area!

Excellent experience. Our tour guide Mike was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Definitely a must do in San Antonio. We had some stops that were unexpected gems. Great food in town and winery was the perfect ending. Well worth the cost!

We enjoyed seeing the old homesteads and farms. The working farm at the LBJ State Park was the highlight of our trip.

The tour was a lot of fun. Our driver Jose was very, very good and he deserves 5 stars not only for his expertise and friendly manner but also because he was able to be flexible and he worked very hard at making sure everyone had a good experience. I am giving 4 stars for the overall tour because we could not get into the LBJ exhibits thanks to the shutdown. Other than that we really enjoyed spending time in Hill Country and our guide did his very best to still show us as much of the LBJ sites as he could. Definitely plan for a full day and be prepared to learn something new while viewing some beautiful parts of the great state of Texas.
