What To Expect
Masonboro Island Reserve
The coastal waters surrounding the Blockade Runner are beautiful any time of day, but nothing compares to the views at sunset. Hop aboard the Carolina Runner and join us for a relaxing and scenic 1.5 hour cruise where you have a front row seat to the best views of Wrightsville Beach. Don’t be surprised if your captain spots dolphins, turtles, seabirds and other marine life. We will position the boat at Masonboro inlet and get great sunset pictures of this pristine untouched barrier island that is over 8 miles long and only accessible by boat before returning to the docks.

5.00So glad we booked this cruise. The ride was smooth and the boat operators, Rick and Amy, were both super friendly. Free beverages were provided. The weather was perfect but did get a little cool once the sun set. Blankets were provided. A nice touch. Rusty, the little dog on board liked to snuggle. Especially when the blankets came out. Restroom on board was appreciated. Just beware of some wake. Our sunset was perfect. No guarantees on that of course, but I’d recommend this cruise to anyone.

5.00The cruise started on time and it was a nice smooth rides. The female assistant was super helpful and answered any and all questions. We took great photos and it was a lovely ride on the water. Sunset was beautiful and they stopped for us to taking amazing photos. We were grateful for the dining recommendation. They provided good music, cold drinks, diesel free cruise. We loved riding with Rusty. We will be back!

5.00My friend and I had a wonderful time on the harbor cruise tour. Our captain and her assistant were great. We were able to get beautiful pictures and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only thing we would suggest is to put the sound side in your reservation since that is what you see when you get to the checkpoint.

5.00We had a great sunset cruise! We got complimentary drinks (including alcohol) and the staff were so friendly and informative. My family was visiting from out of town and I’m so glad I showed them our waterway here!
