  Loved it! So worth the experience and cost. Beautiful views for pictures! The whole experience lasted around 2-3 hours. It was a little crowded but still had many photo spots. Staff was helpful.

  I purchased tickets for Summit One Vanderbilt as a birthday gift for my 69-year-old father, who recently retired. Due to the physical toll of the day, he was simply too exhausted to make the trip as planned. What followed was a masterclass in how to ignore customers and hide behind broken automated systems. The Four-Stage Runaround: • First Attempt: I called early this morning to be proactive about a reschedule. I was unable to get a live representative on the phone despite multiple attempts. • Second Attempt: I tried the website’s chat feature. It was completely useless, offering only "canned" responses that cannot handle actual human issues or medical/age-related accommodations. • Third Attempt: When I finally reached a human, I was told I was past the "two-hour window." To be clear: I only missed that window because their own phone and chat systems were non-functional or unmonitored all morning. • Fourth Attempt: That representative told me I must email to process the change. I emailed immediately, only to receive an automated response telling me I must call the contact center. They are intentionally bouncing customers between dead-end channels to ensure your ticket window expires. Blatant Dishonesty Regarding Availability: The staff tried to claim they couldn’t help because they "couldn't resell the tickets." This is a flat-out lie. I have photo evidence from their own booking portal showing ample availability for every single time slot today. They weren't "losing a sale"; they were just choosing to pocket the money of a retired public servant and refusing to provide a basic accommodation. The Verdict: Summit One Vanderbilt is a stunning building with a hollow, anti-consumer heart. They have zero respect for the elderly or for the reality that seniors sometimes need flexibility. If you have a family emergency or a physical limitation, they will hide behind their "policy" while their own communication channels fail you. Do not reward this "scam" of a support system with your business. There are plenty of other views in NYC that actually treat their guests with dignity.

  I’m not one for heights but the views from the summit made me forget all about it. Being able to see the views across the city which stretch endlessly, were breathtaking and so worth it.

  We booked tickets to the Summit as part of our 5 day trip to New York in February 2026 as a surprise for my nieces 21st Birthday. On arriving to the venue we were met by a staff member who had laptop showing us what the view from the top of the summit looked which was just thick fog, we asked if the view was like this the day before which we were told it was. We were then told we maybe able to change our ticket to another day or get refunded but would have to requeue to speak to the booking office. After about 1 hour of queuing we were then faced with the worse customer service which I have ever experienced. We explained to the lady at the booking desk that we were leaving the next day and were unable to rebook the tickets and would like to know what our options were, well i kid you not the manner in which we were spoken to was shocking, very very rude and unacceptable, we were not offered any alternative and were told the view is not the only reason for visiting the summit so we either attend on the same day or lose what we paid which was a total of £140.52. We ended up going to the experience and what an experience it was, when we got to the viewing platform of the summit I was wondering why it had frosted glass only then to realise it was how dense the fog was that you literally could not see a thing. The problem i have with that is the view was like that for a few days and the website should have notified us of this at booking. Having been looking so forward to visiting the Summit One Vanderbilt it really was a big disappointment.

  This was a beautiful experience for family.loveone, kids the best part is the balloon I felt i was at a party with my own music loove ❤️ 💕 this experience from start to finish my family love it too a night out to just relax the mind and e enjoy the beautiful city amazing I recommend everyone to see come and see the city the best time for me was night amazing 👏😀💕

  As far as high rise experiences go, this is one of the best. Great views with a fun element. Would recommend.
