Our experience with Nomade Tours was incredible from start to finish. Our driver to Sukau, Adran, couldn't have been kinder! We arrived at the river just in time for the golden hour, had a quick snack, and started the safari. Our boat guide was amazing—so patient and skilled at spotting wildlife. We saw many types of monkeys and birds; even though we didn't spot any orangutans, the tour was absolutely worth it. Being immersed in nature like that is a unique feeling. I highly recommend Nomade Tours; they were always available via WhatsApp to answer our questions before and during the trip. Thank you so much! I would choose them a thousand times over.

From Sandakan we had 3 hours and 45 minutes to the resort. Since different hotels are served in Sepilok, the normal journey of 2.5 hours takes much longer. In short: The day trip with departure around noon is absolutely not recommended, unless you like to sit on the bus for 6 to 7 hours for a boat trip

A long afternoon for 2 hours sat in a boat seeing a few monkeys and birds. Very basic facilities, but the driver was on time and to be fair wildlife is unpredictable. Sat near the front of the boat and couldn’t hear a word the guide said.

We took the stay 3d/2n. The accommodation is really excellent, as is the food offered on site. The guides are great like all the staff.
