5.00booked this street photoshoot while visiting Tokyo and it ended up being one of the highlights of my entire trip. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and way more than I expected. The photographer (Mehdi) was incredibly responsive before the shoot — he helped me plan outfits, gave clear directions on where to meet, and made everything feel super easy and stress-free. Once we started, it honestly felt less like a photoshoot and more like exploring Tokyo with a friend who just happens to be insanely talented behind the camera. He guided me through different iconic spots around Shinjuku/Kabukicho and knew exactly how to capture the vibe of each location. Even if you’re not used to being in front of the camera, he makes you feel comfortable and natural — I completely forgot I was nervous after the first few minutes. What really stood out was his eye for detail and creativity. He turned simple streets and neon-lit alleys into cinematic, Instagram-worthy shots. The whole session was fun, relaxed, and actually boosted my confidence. And the photos… absolutely amazing. Easily some of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken — they perfectly captured the energy of Tokyo. If you’re even considering this experience, just book it. 1.00This photographer is a complete fraud. He was a no show when we went to the confirmed location sent by Viator. We called and he said he had called us before and changed the location—-which we had never talked to this guy before. Even more disappointing is Viator won’t offer a refund or research the issue. Had to dispute it with our credit card. Won’t use Viator any more after several years of success. They don’t investigate the issue at all. We wasted two taxi rides and a lot of time and walked away wi the nothing. Their customer service is terrible.

5.00I seriously cannot recommend Mehdi enough! Hire him! Not only is he super cool and fun to shoot with, he’s also insanely professional with a CRAZY good eye. He made me forget I was even nervous and somehow turned a normal walk through Tokyo into a whole photoshoot moment. I’m obsessed with the photos 🤍 If you’re coming to Tokyo and want street-style shots that actually look like you belong in a magazine, Mehdi is 100% your guy.
