This tour may be better with a different guide but we found our guide to be rushed and condescending. Would have liked more information about the cemetery and not as much about our guide.

Our tour guide was Mary and wow, what an amazing lady. She was intelligent and articulate. She had so many interesting stories and related her own personal experiences to people and the area. We could have listened to her all day. Her knowledge was greatly appreciated. The fee was reasonable and the size of the group was manageable.

This is a great tour to take. Now that being said . We got a horrible tour guide. The 2 before us had great guides. The one we got was rude / awkward/and very dry. 100% he ruined the whole experience for us. So if you do this tour I hope you don’t get a bad guide. But doing a cemetery tour is always a good idea.

If you can get Mary as your guide, it's worth adjusting your schedule to do that. She's wonderful and has excellent knowledge !

A very informative tour about a very famous cemetery. Our tour guide was INCREDIBLE as her family has NOLA roots that go back 300 years. There was nothing she did not know about the history of this cemetary.
