What To Expect
Meet your guide on the Esplanade de l’Europe in Montpellier and take off in an air-conditioned minivan for an unforgettable half-day tour. At the gates of Montpellier, take a trip back in time and discover the heritage of the Languedoc region through various tastings. In the 18th century, the city's aristocrats started to build the so-called «folies», elegant houses located in the countryside and surrounded by magnificent gardens, used as sumptuous summer houses by the gentry of the time. During this tour you will visit two different châteaux, learn about the history of the vineyards, the grapes and of course taste their excellent range of wine (red, rosés and whites).

5.00We were recommended to this wine tour after our other one was cancelled the prior day. Our family had a great time. Our guide, David, provided much more than wine tasting. He talked about the history of the area, the history of France, and so much about grapes, wine, and the process of making it. He discussed points of interest on the drive—AND spoke excellent English. The group was small—only 6 on the tour. Transportation was very comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this to someone !
Informative about the region and wine, appreciation of the beauty of the area, and very nice wines to taste.

5.00David was our guide and he was delightful. Very knowledgeable, personable and interesting. We felt like we got a good sense of the wine and history of the area. David was fun to talk to and very flexible in dealing with us. We would highly recommend him and the tour.

5.00I was nervous to join a small group as a solo traveler. Immediately our host and other travelers put me at ease. I truly enjoyed my day. The Host was very educated on the area and the wine. Very comfortable travel van and air conditioning.

5.00great afternoon out visiting 2 vineyards and sampling their wines. our guide marc was fun and energetic making the afternoon a very enjoyable experience. passionate and knowledgeable about winemaking , marc was keen to engage us in the art of wine tasting, identifing the prominent flavours with the nose and of course the palate....yum. would highly recommend this tour with marc if you are in near montpellier. merci marc.
