Incredible all day tour of the Great Ocean Road. What an experience! There were various stops and each one was timed well. We always had enough time to take in the surroundings. Even had the chance to see some koalas which was an unexpected bonus! There was a lunch stop at Port Campbell where there is a good choice of places to eat (I recommend Grassroots Cafe & Deli). The stop for a walk through the rainforest was lovely too. It was a long day but absolutely worth it. Our tour guide was Jess and she was great. She looked after us the whole trip. Making sure we were all enjoying the trip. I’m sure all the guides with this company are very good but if you get Jess then you are in good company for the day! Even if she does get you to try Vegemite….I won’t be trying it again!

Our guide Raquel was very kind and competent. She told us a lot of interesting stories. The duration of the stops was sufficient and the bus comfortable. I recommend this tour

The tour of the Great Ocean Road was incredible. The views were incredible alongside the coast and it was absolutely stunning. My husband and I were in awe. It was definitely a WOW factor. Our Dave (David N) was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and so friendly in having a chat whenever we could. He knew what he was talking about and we learnt a couple of new things. Having a bus driver that was always checking to see if we were okay and if we needed to stop, he would only if it was safe. Seeing koalas in the own habitat was so cool. We were the only Aussies on the tour and going on this trip was great for us as we could just enjoy the scenery and the drive. The locations he took us to were so amazing and loved the 12 apostles and 'The Wreck' and others were so beautiful. The rock formations was a sight as the colours were nothing like I have seen and alongside the blue water was something you just had to see in person. The bus ride was good as it was a perfect amount of time in and out of the bus. It didn't feel too long and tiring. Lunch was yummy at Apollo Bay and that was a cute little spot. At the end of the night, it was like saying goodbye to a friend as Dave dropped us off. Thank you for an incredible day.

Plenty of awesome scenery - I especially enjoyed the 1st segment, dreamy beaches & clear blue ocean. Angel, our tour guide, was lovely.. incredibly approachable & friendly, keeping the energy levels up on what is a very long day! However, for a young-ish solo traveller, this tour/group was a bit PG for my liking. All very nice & fine but attracted an older/touristy crowd... not really anyone to vibe with & it felt a little bit like a school geography field trip by the end of it, looking at rock formations. Not enough time at the beautiful beach stops for my liking sadly - admittedly because so much has to be condensed into one day. Oh, and the flies... they are so relentless, I cannot explain how insane they drive you - never experienced anything like it. It takes the edge off the day when you just can't wait to get back on the bus to have some respite from them landing on your face constantly. In summary, the tour is fine, but maybe not quite what i was looking for - might be better done hiring a car and picking your own itinerary to prioritise the bits you like most

An outstanding Great Ocean Road tour from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking and the itinerary was very well paced. Our tour guide, Sophia, was exceptional, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging throughout the day. She shared insightful commentary, managed the group efficiently, and ensured everyone had a great experience. Highly recommended.

First, you must know that the time that is listed on Viator and repeatedly sent to you on Viator is NOT the correct time. This would have been fine if the Operator "Go West" or Bunyip had in fact refunded the payment I made to them when there was a mix up on the time. Information I received from Viator stated the pick up was at 7 am - and not at my hotel. So I got up at 5:45 AM - walked to the pick up location (although the exact location of Crown Promenade was unclear as putting in the address given on the map app was not the actual location where the pin showed). I stood there in the wee morning hours for 30 minutes while I waited and waited on this tour bus to show up. i had previously been on a tour in Adelaide that came 20 minutes late, so thought I'd give it 30 minutes. When that time came and went I left, although I had reached out 3x and contacted the operator to please confirm they were coming (no response). At 7:55 am I received a phone call to ask if I was still planning on coming. I told them I'd been there since 7 am (actually since 6:45 am) - I was offered to come back but it was determined I was too far away (I had taken the tram to the CBD, but was informed since I "cancelled" my booking (by not being there) there would be NO REFUND. I contact Viator and they were responsive and said they would contact the operator - but they had no pull whatsoever. After I reread through everything I was sent, I did see a clause, buried in all the emails, app updates, whatsapps that I received that I was to contact the operator for the exact time (yet, confusing and contradictory Viator's app showed that the pick up time was 7 am. This was unchanged. Viator really pushed their app as they way to stay updated, and so I downloaded yet another app on my phone so I could avoid these types of issues - yet they still couldn't give correct information. Things happen, that's fine, I am not bothered by missing the tour - I found plenty of other fun and interesting things to do in Melbourne. l'd like to go on record to say, when you are in a foreign country, you have been informed by the booking agency that the time is 7 AM, and you text multiple times to confirm, there should be a refund - and as I didn't get anything out off this deal and they got payment in advance. I guess they are on such a shoestring that every penny counts. THIS TOUR OPERATOR IS A RIP OFF. DO NOT BOOK OR SCHEDULE WITH THIS SCHLOCK ORGANIZATION. Viator has no influence or ability to negotiate for you on your behalf. IF THEY ARE IN THIS DESPERATE NEED FOR FUNDS, THEN YOU MAY ASK WHAT KIND OF DEFERRED MAINTENENCE IS ON THEIR RICKETY VEHICLES THEY ARE ABOUT TO TAKE YOU ON? I CAN'T EMPHASIS ENOUGH - DO NOT BOOK WITH VIATOR OR WITH BUNYIP OR GO WEST - IT'S A MONEY GRAB. 100% OF FUNDS NOT RETURNED BECAUSE THEY CHANGED THE TIME. Garbage People grabbing every buck they can.
