Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation
Centre where orphaned and injured Orang-Utan brought to Sepilok to be rehabilitated to return and fend for
themselves back to the wild. Witness the feeding of Orang-Utan from a platform in the forest. Watch the 25 minutes scheduled
video documentary show.
Proceed to Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSCC) and witness the effort to
provide for the care, rehabilitation and release of orphaned and captive sun bears, as well as address the lack of knowledge and awareness of this little-known bear both in Malaysia and internationally.
Proceed drive for about 45 minutes to Labuk Bay the mangrove forest covers
about 400 acres for Proboscis sanctuary. Proceed to the observation area where visitors will have the delight of
having a reasonably close and magnificent sight of these elusive monkeys which is one the most peculiar animal
in the world and endemic to Borneo.

Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre
Visit the Orangutan Sanctuary from it's nusery center to the adults feeding platform during feeding time. Listen to the briefing given by Park Rangers about the Orangutans.
Sandakan
Sunbear Conservation Center - dedicated to the rehabilitation and release program. Rescued sunbears from poachers , captivity , illegal trading. They are hunted for their gal bladder and bear paws.

5.00This is a great tour to see the 3 major animals in this region of North Borneo. We were lucky enough to see an orangutan walk his way from the jungle to the orangutan nursery right before their feeding time! The babies with their mothers were already in the nursery. Then we headed towards the proboscis monkeys for their feeding time! We saw the alpha male with his harem of females and babies. The sun bears were next, there were several of them pacing around but unfortunately none of them showed us their natural necklaces or collars! We got to see the oriental pied hornbills and the Bornean black squirrels too! Then we ended with a city tour of Sandakan. Mica was a good guide, she took us to these places at the right times! We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Would definitely recommend it.
