Kauai
As the audio guides play commentary based on your gps location, you can create your own itinerary along the tour route(s) to match your interests and schedule. Or you can use our trip planners for our suggestions on half, full or multi day itineraries. Some of the many highlights are listed below;
Ha'ena State Park
Ha'ena State Park is essentially the end of the road as you drive around the north shore of Kauai. The three most popular things to see and do at the end of the Kuhio Highway is to visit Ke'e Beach, or Tunnels Beach which is also called Ha'ena Beach Park, and to walk the Kalalau Trail. This is also the trailhead for overnight hikers and campers heading to the Na Pali Coast. Due to the extremely limited parking availability, you must either reserve a parking space or use the shuttle service to access the park.

A fantastic app that worked much better than expected. With the GPS linked narrative, the good natured narrator gave us an explanation of so much (the chickens of Kauai), it made the drive so enjoyable. Well done.

This was the best money we spent. It is a great narrated drive. If you want to go at your own pace and learn the history of Kaui, I would highly recommend getting this guide.

This app was incredible. I’ve been to Kauai twice before and still found it super invaluable. Not only did it give great instructions as we were driving (once more accurately than Google maps!) but it also filled the stretches of driving with fun facts and stories and restaurant recommendations. I was really curious how it was going to work way up north or feel in Waimea canyon since I know I have no cell service there — I’m happy to report that the app continued to work great (I suspect because we had to download content for it in advance that it was able to work seamlessly offline). This app was legitimately my favorite part of the trip, and that’s not to say we didn’t do a ton of other amazing things, but just how impressed with the app I was. I would 100% recommend this app to anyone.

This audio guide tour was amazing. The tour guide was detailed and so much information about the histort and culture of Kauai, Hawaii was provided. The GPS detection is also very accurate, whenever the guide suggested a stop, they would also give the specific turns and inform us of if there is a lot of parking and if its paid. We named our tour guide "Joe" and he became a part of the family as we explored all of Kauai!

Be patient with it because it comes and gives you a little bit of a blurb and then just be patient because the next one will show up

I had this idea back in the earl '80s, before GPS. This worked liked I'd imagined it would but even better. It was like having a private guide with us in our car. We found places and restaurants that we would have missed without it. Highly recommend.

It allowed us to leisurely tour parts of Kauai. We lived the stories it was very educational and we learned a lot even being from Hawaii. We only had one issue with reconnecting our tour after one of our stops.

Great App! Using it really rounded out our driving experience on the island! Strongly recommend! Ensure you have a charger for your phone as the app & roaming eat up your power, or bring your USB cable.
