• Title: Nice location, but significant maintenance and access issues at Sunset Harbor Palms, Unit 1-311.

  We stayed for a month beginning February 1 and had a mixed experience. Arrival was frustrating. The entry code provided did not work, and after calling Vacasa, we were given multiple incorrect codes. A local representative eventually arrived, but even after replacing the lock battery, nothing worked. We were finally given a physical key after about 90 minutes. We also received incorrect access codes for the pier and pool (they were from prior months), which required additional follow-up to resolve. While WiFi worked overall, we had to reboot it a few times. The TV setup included Roku, which worked once we logged into our own account, but we never had access to cable TV as advertised. Despite reaching out twice, no technician ever followed up. Cleanliness and maintenance were concerns. The furniture and area rug were noticeably dirty, and several items needed repair (dresser drawers, oven handle, refrigerator leak, kitchen faucet). The AC also ran continuously without shutting off. The layout has potential, but the seating at the snack bar is not usable due to mismatched stool height, and there is no dining table. On the positive side, the pier and gazebo were enjoyable, and we especially appreciated the sunsets. Overall, this property could be much better with proper maintenance and follow-through. Based on a prior review from November 2025, some of these issues had already been identified but do not appear to have been addressed. We would consider another Vacasa property, but this experience showed us that listing photos and descriptions may not reflect current conditions.

  Crew music, vibe and boat ride were all excellent. Drinks were as expected, nothing special. Timing was perfect to see the sunset. Beautiful views. My daughter and I had a great time & would do it again.

  

  

• West Palm Beach Sunset Cruise

  The ride was good, but I think when the driver went by the mansions, she should have talked about some of the celebrities and some history about them. A lot of the people on the ride mentioned that instead of playing loud music all the time it would have been nice to have some kind of narration about the different sites along the way. I was on some other sunset cruises, and the tour guides were always narrating some history about the different sites along the way.

  We took the same sunset cruise last year and loved it. Last year the 3 people running the cruise commentate on everything you saw. This year the 2 guys said basically nothing.

  The boat ride was very nice. My only issue was I assumed there would be some narration. For two hours, I had no idea what I was looking at. Captain and the bartender were very nice and I heard the bar tender point out a few things to another couple. Music was great. Very peaceful.

  The boat is a large, open catamaran. The captain and one crew did a Great job. The boat was clean and had seating for everyone. The route was on the intercoastal waters. The downside was they blasted the music so loud we couldn’t have a conversation or hear the crew.

  The sunset cruise was so much fun! We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful scenery, including waterfront homes, boats, and breathtaking views. The sunset was absolutely stunning and set the perfect mood for the evening. We danced, enjoyed food and drinks, and had a great time celebrating on the water. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and full of positive energy. The people in charge were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, making the experience even better. Everything was well organized. I will definitely book another sunset cruise and highly recommend it! 🌅🚤✨
