Rhine Falls
Reach the first highlight of this afternoon at splendid medieval Castle Laufen – the mighty Rhine Falls! Enjoy about one hour leisure time at Europe's biggest waterfalls and one of Switzerland's major tourist attractions! Delight unique views from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700'000 liters of water per second plunge across a width of 150 meters into the basin below. The Belvedere panoramic trail brings you to the viewing platform right above the falls where you feel the spindrift of the rumbling waters. Take an optional boat ride (summer only, additional costs) close to the falls. Enjoy an hour here to see an exhibition, admire panoramic views from the glass elevator, or walk to the viewpoints above and around the falls to thrill at their roar and power. The site also has a playground, shops, and restaurants. Perhaps opt for a boat ride (subject to availability and not included in price) to experience the crashing cascades close up.

Excellent trip with Martin the tour guide and Jorge the driver. We were so lucky to get a boat trip to the Rhein Falls as usually they are not on in March. However, due to exceptional weather , trips up to Falls on! Stein am Rhein is the best old town we have ever seen. Again, the tour guide was super taking us on a 20 minutes walk and pointing out The Dragon House, a wonderful 16 th century museum. We went to it in our remaining free time. Just incredible.

Beautiful drive to the falls and Stein am Rhine. Guide was very knowledgeable. Recommend the boat ride and going to the museum at the falls. And stop at the gelato shop on Main Street in Stein am Rhine.

It was a good trip, but nothing to write home about. The guide was friendly but the trip was more of a "we'll drop you off here and there, go explore". There was minimal information shared and everyone stuck to their own groups. It would have been more fun to mingle more with the other travelers or have learned more from the guide.

Very nice trip from Zurich passing through beautiful countryside and small villages. The guide gave very good details/explanations along the way. The falls exceeded our expectations. Stein on Rhein was a nice stop afterwards for a nice history and beautiful buildings.

This was a nice way to get to both Rhine Falls and Stein am Rein without having to figure out your own transportation. Very organized and punctual. Highly recommend not booking on Sunday or Monday because all of the cute shops in Stein am Rein were closed, which was disappointing. The only things open were food places and a few cheap souvenir shops.
