What To Expect

One-way Private Transfer (not shared). Vehicle: Minivan. Hyundai, KIA or similar. Passengers: Up to 6 Maximum Luggage Capacity: 6 medium cases (24 - 26 inches) + 1 backpack per person. IMPORTANT: Your booking time MUST match your flights scheduled time of arrival (not later). • On arrival, you will be met by our driver inside the terminal, assisted with luggage and escorted to the private vehicle. Our driver will display a signboard with your name and flight number for easy identification. • During your journey, your locally based driver will share tips and recommendations of the best eateries, attractions and sightseeing areas. Maddie is a pleasant, punctual and professional taxi driver but beware her pricing. Even charged extra for carrying my wheelie walker to and from the airport to our hotel in Palm Cove and we only had two small suitcases. BUT BEWARE ------------- We went on a private Day Tour with her to Atherton Tablelands which was pleasant but a very badly arranged itinerary as far as timing. We had a delicious large cooked breakfast at Lake Barrine which, unfortunately, we had to rush through and not really finish so that we could go on the Boat Cruise. After some cheese and chocolate sampling we were then supposed to go to lunch at an old pub but we were all too full to require aything more to eat. On the way home I enquired about a refund for our missed Lunch only to be refused. Her words were "that's not how tours work and you would then know how much I paid then". So what is she hiding? She said that she had offered to buy us something in a Deli as recompense but we didn't want anything having already spent at previous outlets. We had paid an awful lot of money because other people had cancelled and we were on our own as a couple. Not happy and it left a nasty taste in our mouths. To add insult to injury it came to our attention that the Cruise on Lake Barrine was free in November for Seniors.which we are sure we paid for. IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO FEEL AS AS THOUGH PROFIT COMES BEFORE GOODWILL TO CUSTOMERS PLEASE BOOK WITH MADDISON. WE CERTAINLY WON'T BE.
